Any nation that was under as much oppression, unemployment, humiliatation of losing ww1, no colonies in the world, obscene inflation, etc would have done the same. Talk about people spreading misinformation. I wonder if it is a jewish "getting even" strategy.

Let's look at the issue honestly, truthfully, objectively and with integrity.

Iran had at least specified that it would at only respond IF attacked, and not otherwise. It is already tantamount to the the 'no first strike' policy adopted by all civilised nations.

Having said that, Iran can do more rather than BLUSTERING with threats on its ways in international diplomacy, that only riles feathers, genuine concern over nuke proliferation and hurt its own position.

1. If Iran wishes to own nukes, many in the world would understand, in the face of Israel owning it years back..It is only a deterrant isue if used only upon being attacked, and be responsible for its safeguard by EVERY Iranian citizen. Live by the gun, then be fully responsible to DIE by the gun, as all nuke nations had grudingly accepted., and thus a deterrent and assurance to the world that 'no first strike nuke option' be ever used.


2. If Iran has nothing to hide, then instead of blustering and threatening, it should just come clean and tell the world where they stand, honestly, on the nuke issue, and personally invite IEAE inspectors to conduct full unhindered surprise checks on 'suspected' nuke activity if any.

That it had not done so, had only increase the suspicion and fears by all, including the shia sect around the world on this situation, whom will NOT support further Iranian belligerance.

I, only an insignificant nobody, cannot believe the stupidity of the Iranian leadership. And i doubt neither do the clueless Iranian citizens, including its conscript troops, just like Syrian soldiers whom kept in the dark, whom will be responsible for the minority leadership's errors.

If the Iranian leadership is sleeping or delusional, may our last hope - our fellow human brothers and sisters in Iran wake up and wakes the leadership up, or only unnecessary precious human lives will certainly be lost forever on all sides over this issue....

I don't recall deny it. My post history shows how I feel about America's indiscriminate slaughter of the citizens of sovereign nations. Our sitting president, despite his trying to appear as a humanitarian progressive, seems to enjoy wallowing in death. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him bathing in a tub of the blood.

Well yes actually. Everyone is talking about the "possibility of WWIII". It's all #ing horse #. THE WAR HAS ALREADY STARTED YOU FOOLS. Just because there is no declaration or mediation between the governments does not change the physical actions that are taking place. All of these countries are actively at war with one another, and alliances are being formed. Just as you put it, an attack on one member of the alliance is an attack on them all. So it's pretty hypocritical for you to say that it's a dumb move for Iran to attack a NATO base because of the corresponding alliances, yet US/UK led NATO missions have been terrorizing all of the countries within the mid-east alliance for decades now. How about the bombing of 26 Pakistan troops on their own border yesterday.. What does that have to do with Iran?, How about both US and UK having halted military correspondence with Russia, what do you think that means?

There is no room for bias in war. All aggression towards the US has been in retaliation of the destruction they are causing over there. I just don't get how you knuckle heads could be supporting the efforts when you hardly even have a grasp on the economical and political situation that encompasses it. In my opinion this is all just crazy talk. Go live over there for a year, see what it's like to be bullied by western cultural dominance, to be invaded on unfounded causes, to have your home bombed every day, the worst part of it ALL BEING ILLEGAL, and then majority of the US public can't even point out their own #ing country on the map, let alone the country they are occupying. Iran doesn't have a nuclear bomb. America does and they have used the weapon of mass destruction against innocent civilians on two occasions. America, however, believes it has impunity from crimes against humanity because killing non-Americans isn't wrong. God blesses America, after all!

NATO is an outdated money-making scam concept. Anyone can buy russian or chineese "inferior" hardware for about a third of the nato price. Cheap labor equals cheap price, minus profit of course. I mean if we are going to employ global capitalism at everything non-military, then why not use it for military hardware also?

Yeah. Just like the US outclassed Vietnam at every turn...and Afghanistan and Iraq. I think that you haven't bothered to turn on the news or read a history book. Iraq was far less equipped than Iran is now and they are still putting up a fight. The Iraq war lasted longer than World War II, and we're pulling out without a definitive victory.

NATO and $3 trillion couldn't stop entrenched guerrilla forces in Afghanistan. You think the entire population of Iran is going to give up easier?

its basic strategy, to mount a counter attack Iran has to take out the radar in Turkey, any general of any nationality would tell you that, and please, dont underestimate Iran, Turkey isnt exactly a huge millitary power and combined with China and Russia backing Iran, it would get very messy very fast.

Who do you think all these wars are being fought for? Israel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If Iran is attacked, then they have every right to attack Israel. If NATO attacks, Iran has the right to defend itself by attacking any NATO country. In the middle of a war with NATO, do you expect Iran to launch an investigation into where every bomb or cruise missile comes from, before they retaliate against those countries in full. Real war isn't a computer game where you can hit the pause button, before deciding what your next move is going to be. If NATO attacks, all NATO countries are legitimate targets.
