NATO Helicopters from Afghanistan Kill 28 Pakistani Troops at Checkpoint in Pakistan
NATO helicopters and fighter jets attacked two military outposts in northwest Pakistan on Saturday, killing as many as 28 troops and plunging
U.S.-Pakistan relations, already deeply frayed, further into crisis.
Pakistan retaliated by shutting down vital NATO supply routes into Afghanistan, used for sending in almost half of the alliance's non-lethal
The attack is the worst single incident of its kind since Pakistan uneasily allied itself with Washington in the days immediately following the Sept
11, 2001 attacks on U.S. targets.

Pakistan Army Chief General Kayani is holding an emergency meeting with military leadership to discuss NATO's deadly cross-border attack (no link
available yet) But this might be the match that sets things off, you know this is the second time something like this has occurred, I wouldn't be
surprised that Pakistan send tons of anti-aircraft munitions to the border and shoots down anything that comes close.
Then bring in the rising tensions with Russia and China (which warned the US and NATO from the bin Laden raid), and we all know what has happened in
the past when the global economy has sunk, a world war. But as to the Pakistan military, you know that they have to do something.....they are going
to take a lot of flak from their own people if nothing is done.
