I said it was the start of something when they did it to Portland, but no one wanted to hear it. They're going to shut them all down. I'm always crazy until I'm right, then they forget I mentioned it!

Although, shutting down the parks will only test the movement's resolve. It might be time to move from the campsite and into the library. The Occupiers need to either jump to the next level politically, or go away and have some sub-pop-culture meme floating out there forever.

I haven't been monitoring many of the recent details of OWS. The questions that I have about OWS Portland and L.A. is this:

What happened to all the protestors? Were they put behind bars, and for how long if they were? Does it look at all as if the protests will start again in the future?


I'm sure protests in other countries in the world get shut down, so this isn't really anything new. It's happened in the USA before in multiple states.
