What are your thoughts on the Nationwide Concealed Carry Reciprocity Bill? On the one hand it makes it easier to carry a weapon in other states but at the same time it may be a backdoor registration for CCW holders. Registration is a slippery slope....we'll leave it at that. Also to be considered is the redundancy of any CCW law since the 2nd Amendment ("the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed") should grant the right to "bear arms" (except on an airplane, White House tours, etc). In addition the 10th and 14th Amendments might come into play also.

Im all about this bill passing, I would love to be able to carry anywhere in the country instead of my state only. Then I might actually go into New Jersey and New York instead of just chilling out here near the border in PA.

It sounds nice and all bit creating more laws isnt the answer.

This bill wouldn't be necessary if the 2nd wasn't already infringed up the wazoo.

Dump those infringements rather than pass yet another law.

Passing laws must be easier than repealing them because that's all the gov seems to do.

This issue is a per state problem, the state says yes on pistal permits, and enact one thing, but the countys say otherwise, in NYS you can get a permit, but not a ccp, unless your law inforcement, or high profile business man. anti-gunners control albany, no mil spec weapons to be kept in some countys,

Now New Jersey is a real problem, i knew some dealers and taught target shooting and in jersey, the paper work is massive, even to own a bb gun yes a bb gun, just write to the state and ask for a temp carry, for target shooting, but get anything on gun carry in writing, before entering the state with your pistal, also don't forget to say the lenght of time you and the weapon will be in the state and please make sure its unloaded in the car, and no 13 to 15 round clips
