Really? Looks like Occupy Black Friday might have been a good idea after all lol. I am just amazed and had to share it. Pepper spraying people while shopping. love it! An unhappy customer peppered sprayed people. Maybe they were just hungry, seeing as pepper spray is a vegetable. And some people were worried about occupy protesters "blocking people" from getting in to the stores. Looks like they were just trying to save shoppers from having to share that "freshly pepper sprayed" feeling that they have been subject to.

Hello, ATS, look at your stampede, now back to OWS, now back at your stampede, now back to OWS. Sadly, you are not us, but if you stopped stomping someone's granny underfoot to save a dollar, you could feel like us Look down, back up, where are you? You’re on the street with the protest your shoppers could feel like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an oyster with two pickets for that thing you detest. Look again, the pickets are now legislation. Anything is possible when your shoppers acts like OWS and not a greedy douchebag. I’m on a horse

It may have been his wife, mother, grandmother or sister. maybe a cousin? The article said it was a female shopper. I saw it and just thought of the irony because of the Pike incident.

I don't have evidence, besides word of mouth- my brother and his girl went to the WalMart in Anaheim, CA (or one of them- don't know how many there are) and they seen three fights.

If I find any reports I will share. I am sure there will be plenty coming out in the next few days.

add: I wonder if the pepper spray lady always carries it around, or brought/bought it with her just for this occasion?

They should build trap-doors into the floors of the stores and then underneath the doors, fill the underground area with lots of crocodiles!! Then when the unruly shopping morons cant shop like CIVILIZED human beings amongst themselves, the trap-doors open up and cause let them fall in to the hungry crocodiles!!!

Thats should teach them to be CIVIL!!

That would be some great viewing!!

A GREAT IDEA for Pay Per View events!!!

I live in a small town this year just outside Nashville and do the Black Friday thing almost every year. I never seen it as bad as it was tonight. We arrived at 9 for the 10pm sale. We had to park down the street at a strip mall as there were no spaces at walmart and people were parking places they should not have been . We walked in and wasn't surprised to see that there were no baskets ... the lines were packed and in a way i've never seen before. Walmart had allowed customers to open the pallets of stuff that aren't supposed to be open until 10pm and the stuff was in their baskets waiting for the clock to strike 10. There was literally no room at all to move--forget shopping it was total grid lock. For some reason Walmart had roped off the items that were for the midnight sale. The people that were lined up for it was placed across from the area behind yellow tape and were in triple rolls 6 isles deep. I finally locate the end of the line . Every person in there has been bump and pushed repeatedly but stayed calm --there was simply no way to avoid it. We all knew we'd be there in line most of the night so everybody just talked. Eight women show up in a group and spin their baskets sideways , trying to block off the aisle .. again we are squiggled 3 deep in narrow aisles ....with shoppers trying to get thru . These 8 women first start wanting to cuss at ppl if they get bumped into . Finally they get loud enough that someone calls the manager. The manager asks them why they are there standing and why they have their carts blocking the lines. They say that they came for the midnight sale and they are forming to be first in line. The manage explain that line was started at 5pm and was already 3row deep of six aisle. These women start cussing loud and saying they aren't leaving and they are going to get in there first.. I'm thinking o no . If they start fighting we are blocked in here and none of us can move. The manager kept telling them how they had to release 10 ppl at a time from the beginning of the line and that's how it had to go . If one thing goes wrong we could have a crisis in here and the fire department would be very unhappy over the situation. It went back and forth with the women demanding to be let in and the manager trying to convince them trouble would get them closed down due to safety concerns . I finally got squiggled around and didn't know how the situation ended until I made it through checkout..Six police cars escorted the women out the emergency doors from the back of walmart to their cars and followed them off the lot. Things can and will get crazy at these sales. BTW after almost four and a have hours of this hellish situation I was about to find three things to buy and only one was on sale. Stay home .. it's not worth it.

First it is breaking news. secondly, I think it is a Conspiracy by Corporations to hijack Christmas, just to line their pockets and subvert the real meaning of Christmas.

corporations are legally obliged to make a profit where ever they can so they do sales and offers whenever people want to buy stuff. If people want to buy stuff at a certain time of the year that coincides with a holiday then thats up to them, no one is forcing them to.

If by the true meaning of Christmas you are referring to the the Christian festival then maybe you should realize that they stole that date off earlier religions and claimed it for themselves. So the Christians 'hijacked' Dec 25 a long time ago.

Apparently, the season of good cheer did not start out as exclusively a Christian festival. According to Pagans, the early Christian church hijacked December 25 to celebrate the birth of Jesus because they saw that everyone was already having a good time and decided to take advantage of it.

Historical debate has been raging for a long time over the exact date of the birth of Jesus Christ, with estimates ranging from sometime in September to much later in February.

I read they have not caught the perp yet.

I think WalMart staged this on purpose, to introduce heightened security measures inside the stores due to the violent masses. Just another baby step towards complete police state.

Of course companies have to make a profit, while the birth of Christ can not be exactly dated, I'll celebrate on the current chosen date and I prefer celebrating that over Paganism.. Giving of oneself should not be limited to this one event. How many Corporations have changed their banners to Happy Holidays, watering down the Christian belief?

I'm surprised the K-mart announcement wasn't changed yet, to Achtung! all K-mart shoppers!

The way i see it its more like everyone is going back to a general celebration of a festival on that date and steering away from the now minority Christian religion that tried to 'hijack' that date to force people to celebrate their made up story about the birth of Christ.

The corporations realize that for the majority of people in the world Dec 25 is just a celebration so they change happy Christmas into happy Xmas or happy holidays. Its obvious the Christians have no right to try to claim that date for their own purposes.
