Why swearing can be good for you

What a ******* relief! Especially today as I am cooking a ******* Thannksgiving dinner and every **** thing that can go wrong is going wrong Soon, a crowd who gets on my last ******* nerve will be here to criticize it all.....(just kidding...I love em) Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

Maybe ATS should add a button in the "Post a Reply/Comment" page that adds in code for something like this whenever someone uses a word not allowed here. Or even modify the auto-censor to add it in...

Major flaw with the research is they determined what was said. If they allowed people to say what they wanted rather than dictating it, and then made them use the reverse, it would be much more relevant. Perhaps more people got a benefit from swearing because swearing is their normal form of release, and the minority that got the benefit from not swearing used non swear words as their normal form of release.

In this scenario finding appropriate words to get release is that much more important.
