I will only apologize on behalf of the nation over the crud we did to the Native American Indians, Tuskeegee Experimnent, Children of Thalidomide, recently tortured Arabs, all who were falsely jailed stateside and for any other injustice of a group of peoples or a person that has befallen someone. Especially in cases whereas we have wronged someone.

A signature trait of a great nation is being able to show your compassionate side when the times and circumstances necessitate it plus maintaining the ability to identify the faults in the nation in order to work to correct those faults to make sure that they never happen again as that is how you get the world to continue it's respect for you. We are not to be arrogant, walking around with our collective noses thumbed upward thinking our yap don't stink. This is what continually irks our neighbours and allies.

Obama in 09 apologized to the entire Arab world over the treatment of detainees, the crud from Abu Ghirab and guess what happened afterwards? The entire Arab world as well as the rest of the world looked at us more positively.

What is 1% of 300,000,000 americans? It is exactly 3,000,000 americans who play the stock market religiously because they have accumulated enough wealth to do so. Many of those people relly on insider information and know the stock market trends better than their family.

Why do people get suprised to see so many OWS haters on ATS? I know, I know...I was suprised as well in the beginning because I was naive enough to think we all wanted the same things. Boy was I wrong!

A satantist would be anti-OWS! Multi-millionares are anti-OWS! People with high corporate positions are anti-OWS! The media spin doctors are anti-OWS publicly, but privately while drinking a martini with you they may confess you are correct. Generals, colonels, admirals, captains in the military are anti-OWS because they know the left likes to axe the military budget and they would be without a job. High ranking priests(especially catholic) are anti-OWS because they know the left shuns against religious extremism/control.

All of the above have reasons to be anti-OWS and they are loosely called "the establishment" or status quo. Everyone else belongs to the 99%, 98%, 90% something who work to exist and are sick and tired of taxation without representation. Oh did I mention both democrats and republicans are anti-OWS? Obviously they get paid by the super-wealthy so we are deemed a threat to them.

We are not fighting just the super-wealthy, we are fighting the babyboomers and pawns of the elite as well.

The 1% isn't accurate though.. It isn't 3 million Americans. What they are really talking about is more like the .1%. It was just easier to say 1%. They are talking about the people that are billionaires that run the mega corporations that infiltrate and manipulate the government.

I'm just kidding, Don't tear me to shreds. I like occupy on some level but when I saw videos of people interviewing them and I saw a lot of them. I just couldn't get behind that flag, I disagree with them too much on another level.

Easy, just link it communism...the McCarthy card: call them "tree hugging hippies" and grossely exaggerate the perceived threat. In the meantime there are like 3 or 4 nations that are either communist or socialist in the world, but we are dealing with corporate spin doctors.

Then play the ron paul card and tell everyone this guy wants "real change". Anyone who does not support ron paul is against america, much like george bush claimed against those that did not support a pre-emptive strike against iraq. If you don't support THE MAN you are ANTI-CONSTITUTIONAL because supposedly only right wingers love it.

Bill Clinton was correct in that "the right has a mafia contract on america to destroy it from within" and he was the last president to balance the budget, something all the right wing hypocrites can only dream of after drinking a bottle of jack daniels.

If I had 10 million invested in the stock market there is no way in hell I would ever support OWS.

And AT LEAST 3 million americans have ACTUALLY lived the american dream. 3 million is a very conservative estimate. I would say like 30 million. Don't be so damm naive........

You own a successful restaurant? Easy millions! You own a small casino? Easy millions! You own a successful convience store, pizza parlor, hair salon, car dealer, brothel, motel, hotel, car rental, boat rental, ice cream vendor, amusment park, min-golf, theater, whatever..........equals millions or billions.

Notice I am not talking about big corporations. ONLY small and medium business that has bought the republican MYTH with hook, line and sinker. I know of very few entrepreneurs who voted for a democrat because they hate unions and high taxes. Cheap mexican labor is the key for these people!

Ron Paul supporters derided by the Corporate owned MSM = Bad thing
