Check out this video of an octopus literally crawling out of the water and dragging itself across dry land in pursuit of a meal. A family with a camera was lucky enough to be on the scene and captured the whole thing on video:

Quite interesting if you ask me, they are very intelligent creatures that can do a variety of things that, surely a sign from God:

Perhaps one day the masses will stop slaughtering these intelligent animals for food. They are highly intelligent earthlings and yet they are massacred because they are a traditional dish in many countries. Common humanity evolve!

Even though this is already posted, it's still a cool sight. Though.. You're mistaken about one thing...

It's not "evolving". As far as what little we know, they have been doing this as long as they have existed. I read a part of one of these stories about this same critter that mentioned how these critters are often found outside of their aquarium and tend to move around in search of food.

Though, I had no idea they lived without water for so long without pulling air from water. Maybe they can breath both ways?

Guys... No evolution here. Read the article. It's not uncommon, just not very often seen.

It states clearly that they could have been doing this forever, we just never took much note of how these critters lived so near land. It sites many examples of such things that these lil slime buckets have done in similar cituations.
