Intentional or not, I think it could be taken as a warning. He was writing what the future may very well be like if we were run by a totalitarian government.

This is one of the times I get to agree with you man. Since Sept 11, 2001, I think we've been on the fast track. Regardless of who's in charge, we're all screwed...
