Well I went pretty nuts over this and so did everyone else in my age group.
Old School TRANSFORMERS are the best.

Oddly enough this was the last thing Orson Welles did before he died.
From rosebud to Unicrom RIP

I was born in 71 and by the late 80's I was playing bass/vocals in a punk band.

From what I can remember, it was fun

We would be paid 2 slabs of beer as part of our fee

One of the times police showed up we played a song for them called

I hate cop cars by The Exploited.

One of the coppers took aim and shot at us with his thumb and forefinger

Mee Mar! Mee Mar!

Ahhh... 1984 I was dating Richard and working at GTE in Phoenix. I had these new (tight) white jeans that I'd never worn before and a baby blue short top that looked fantastic. When I met him at the 'bar' (read disco) his mouth fell open and he couldn't keep his eyes off me. That night we danced to this song and I will always remember it.

Ra Ra skirts, cerise blusher and electric blue eyeliner I'd rather forget.
Not all the music was awesome, matter of fact the majority was an abomination. Allow me to demonstrate.

That doesn't even make a dent in it.
If any brave souls have managed to watch those in their entirety without vomiting then welcome to my tortured childhood. I'd take my hat off to you if I was wearing one.
