Obamerica - where kids are taught treason in the schools their taxes pay for.

The snip part is the part where it is a Spanish Class.

Leaving parts of the story out are we?
A tactic also used by FOX "News"

I don't understand the fear of learning about another country or culture.

There are other countries besides the USA, or hasn't anybody heard?

The war on knowledge continues....

Yeah - that's how the school is trying to spin this story that blew up in their face. It's BS. This teacher was teaching treason to our kids with our tax $.

you do realize we live in the 21st century dont you?
Im not sure what century your mindset comes from... but im pretty sure here in the "future" most of us realize that saying certain words isnt going to cast a spell over your mind and turn you into a mexican.. or whatever.

that girl just wanted to cause trouble, and so do you..

i may have missed it, but have you explained what any of this has to do with obama yet?

Pure overblown right-wing hysteria.

My senior year in HS, while trying to cram as many college prep course into my schedule as I could, I took French and Spanish, and in both classes we read aloud the respective national anthem for France/Mexico. Reagan was president. Cause for mass hysteria? Over-reaction? Round up the wagons? I suppose we would have reacted like that, if we had media outlets screaming we were being forced to pledge allegiance to a foreign nation.

Sheesh...

IT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH OBAMA!!!!

IT TOOK PLACE IN 2006, more than 2 YEARS BEFORE OBAMA BECAME PRESIDENT!!!

Pure right-wing lies, things left out, manipulated information presented out of context, propaganda, .... the list goes on, but total truth it is not.

This thread almost belongs in the [HOAX] forum as far as I'm concerned.

But, I might be wrong.

Whadyamean?. Obama is an illegal alien lover. Last august he said he was gonna let all 30 million of them live here in open defiance of laws passed by congress.!!! I guarantee he supports making americans pledge allegiance to mexico.

Having lived in the Rio Grande Valley, I can tell you that it is 95% hispanic. Mostly spanish speaking and some are bilingual. This is not a surprise to me at all. Except I gotta hand it to the one who refused to say the pledge of allegiance to Mexico. That kid is brave.
