My first Year on ATS

Since my sign up date it has been a bit over a year, however i did lurk for a time before that, anyway...

When i first discovered this site I was super excited. The wealth of information was amazing.

I was online as often as i could be, and had withdrawls when i wasn't on

I gave every topic a fair shake and "believed" (grain of salt) almost every topic that I read.

As time passed however i have become more and more skeptical. I'm not sure if i'm better at detecting BS or if ATS's notorious debunkers got into my head!

When I joined I was way more paranoid than I am now. I was sure that the world was going to end any minute, and the things I read here only confirmed my suspicions.

Now, I don't have that "doom" feeling anymore.

I remember watching UFO video's and thinking that every one was "proof" While I have seen UFO's in real life, 99% of you tube vids now get a big

So in One year I went from a raving conspiracy lunatic, to a relatively normal ( ) conspiracy skeptic.

I guess after so many failed SHTF dates you just become desensitized to the whole thing.

Excellent thread! Yip - I have not been around on ATS as long as you (joined about 8 months ago), but I am noticing that I am trending in much the same fashion.

ATS : guaranteed to neutralize the most nutty of the nutties...

The more time I spend on ATS the less of a conspiracy theorist I am.

I'm not saying the government doesn't lie..You don't have to be a conspiracy theorist to figure that one out... But the difference between the truth and the abject BS that conspiracy theorists come up with is, in fact, night and day.
