I agree with onfire. The only people that ever preach that Alex Jones is worth anything are people that started listening to him in the last couple of years. The people that claim he has uncovered stuff can never explain why he is still then trying to uncover it and what the hell he has uncovered so far. Well I guess it would help if you read ALL of my posts on this thread because I've known Alex for more than 20 years.

I've listened to him for the past 10.

I don't buy everything he sells but he has been a leader in the conspiracy realm. Much of what he calls "news" is right and ahead of its time.

How about you stop making assumptions and look at the facts??

That doesnt explain why their shouldnt be any standard imposed on these people. Jones gives you basically all hearsay or inferences but presents it as fact. So he (or any other media figure) should be excused because we should all assume what they are saying is false. I believe that you should verify what you hear but it doesnt mean that people who make these misrepresentations arent culpable.

As for being a newb and my post count.....your right racking up triple the amount of posts I have distinguishes us in someway. Those extra 200 some posts have made you very wise, especially considering 300 is nothing on this site. I like to think I was doing better things during that time you were racking up posts, like doing actual research, getting an education, interacting with others, seeing sun light....

How about you address why the OWS movement, that claims to represent everyone, has made a list of people they don’t want to hear from?

For them to even include the word 'fascist', is disgusting and unwarranted... I goes to show the comprehension of those who are truly behind the OWS movement.

AHHHHH! I could go on for days about the loose usage of the word fascist or fascism, but it will just fall on deaf ears, for the definition of words has been all but been lost in todays language.

Here, do a favor to mankind, look up the word Fascism, en.wikipedia.org... , and then try to understand why this is the wrong word to use when describing people such as Alex Jones.

I personally don't care to go out of my way to listen to Alex Jones, for I believe there is a better approach to raising awareness, other than fear mongering and pandering to paranoia.

OWS will fall apart so fast, it will make your head spin if they continue using such language and tactics.

Your a funny guy....really love the internet hierarchy of internet message boards. I remember the last time someone called me a newb I was 14 and on a paintball forum trying to fix my paintball gun. but anyways.....

I dont disagree with Jones premiss that there is alot of stuff going on behind the scenes and all is not as it seems...I dismiss him because he is a fear monger and generally he lies or stretches the truth. I also dismiss him because he is a generally unlikeable person from almost everything i have seen or heard him in....he has an ego that is unmatched by anyone.

And since you've chosen to single out my attacks on AJ I'll address OWS as well. They banded him for reasons that have nothing to do with his message...it has all to do with their rules (no politics and no conspiracy theories) as was posted by another member. OWS doesnt represent all of us by any stretch...no group could do that. I am not an OWS supporter as I have made evident in many other threads....but I'll side with them on this one..They have the right to set their own rules and AJ cant do anything about it

After seeing it first hand, I'm starting to believe that since the Occupy crowd is growing so large, that they have to start limiting viewpoints that would actually start addressing real issue. When Occupy initially started, livestream was the only forum to actively discuss with other 99/occupy members the movement. Like I've said in many other threads, they limited to discussion of politics to only include Leftist/ Socialist/ Communist thought. Obama support was okay. Socialist Democrats were okay, but anything else was banned.

It's why Ron Paul supporters aren't allowed within Occupy. It's why end the fed isn't allowed into discussion. It's why a Tea Party vs. OWS was fully embraced by it's supporters (on television, they literally had a Tea Party rep and a Occupy rep and they argued about nothing more then "I'm better then you, you're wrong."

They limit the views, because other viewpoints (like Jones) make members want to further question the "reality of things." If enough Occupy members learned what was going on, they would realize a) camping in a park in NYC was useless and b) move their occupy (in mass) to DC.

People claiming Jones is personally spamming OWS website are absurd. What's to say that Millions of people just carry the same ideology, and are just discussing on Jones in relation to OWS. You do know that Luke Rudkowski, a We are change Journalist that is highly involved with Infowars has been taking part in OWS. Is he spam?

When masses of people discuss something it isn't spam. It's just a bunch of people going against an agenda that a group has. Whether it be OWS banning Jones discussion on their website, or CBS removing Ron Paul from their Poll. It's all the same thing.

They claim spam, when it's really a majority of people voicing an opinion that goes against an agenda.

If the group was about solidarity they (select leaders) would not hold meetings in the Deutsche bank lobby. Why the hell is a bank allowing members of OWS to hold GA meetings in their lobby? Because... The movement has already been infiltrated.

As for OWS supporting Nazi's and not jones Id have to look at the rules again but they can be Nazi's all they want...that is freedom of speech in America....but if they start posting political candidates or conspiracy theories they will be banded too...thats how rules work.

Well as ive stated before I am not a supporter of OWS so I cant help you with your membership package haha....I am not giving you OWS rules I am just explaining their message board rules as has been posted by another person

But it doesnt matter what they chose to do on their website. Its a private website. You dont have a right to freedom of speech on a private website. Just as if you are on my property you have no right to peaceably assemble or I can tell you that you have no right to bear arms inside my work place. Unfortunately, the Supreme Court has confused the distinction between private and public rights in a lot of ways. Not saying that its good they ended segregation in public institutions but their ability to force people to do things in private settings is questionable (although then you go into the issue of opening your property to the public).....But the bottom line is that you, I, and Alex Jones have no freedom of speech in private settings

Yeah.. Alex Jones is a complete liar. I consider articles from him to be no more newsworthy than an article from Weekly World News. I'm glad they are banning it. It justifies peoples belief that the protesters are crazy when they hear that garbage.

I wonder if they have the same policy towards any kind of "spam" on the website. It may not be a Alex Jones or David Icke only policy. Maybe it is a policy against any kind of "spamming". Which most forums have.

FURTHER EDIT - We finally implemented collapsible threads. Upvote/Downvote will actually do things now.

AGAIN AN EDIT - There is lag between posting and viewing comments. Don't assume that because you don't see your comments immediately they're being removed. For one it makes you look like a complete ass when the comment finally shows up, especially if you posted 3-4 copies of it.

EDIT IV - The points you see and the upvote/downvote thing is tied to the like/dislike buttons. If you hit like on someone's comments, it's +1, if you hit dislike, it's -1. Also rules apply to news comments..

So, Prison Planet isn't exactly telling the entire story accurately. It's a general spamming issue not an Alex Jones or David Icke issue. In fact they don't mention their names on the website posting policy at all.

It appears as though they have a very strict policy for all posting content. Probably it needs to have this. We have all seen the way some people talk and post in public forums that are not moderated well.

I think might be a bit of propaganda on the part of who ever wrote the article on PrisonPlanet and I would hope that Alex Jones is not behind this smear job of the OWS website

They rip on Ron Paul there because his supporters reach out the most. I am commenting because I know people will point this out. In face Paul has the most support at these protests despite that. They only say his name several times because he is discussed most. Which is good. Also his name being repeated will help him with anti-ows voters. Again, in reality, he has the most support at Occupy. If any of the protests have been hijacked, its the New York one. Occupy Wall Street doesn't seem to really represent the movement anymore. It doesn't look anything like the other Occupy protests.

Jeez you are thick headed......Public doesnt mean something that happens in public. A marathon happens in public but it may very well be a private event. A public event is one put on by the govt....the govt cant limit your freedom of speech but a private person sure can. If I hold a rally I can ask you to leave. But we are talking about a private WEBSITE not a rally. They can limit whatever they want. They are not a govt entity (and even govt can limit some speech). You have no right to publish anything at all on a private website.....it is a privilege

I am not supporting OWS I think its a dumb movement. However, I am pointing out that you have nothing to gripe about. Jones has no right to be heard on the forum if they dont want him on there. Its just one of those things....you can be mad about them supporting communists but it doesnt matter they have that right.....And as a Jones fan you should be against people being forced to list opinions they dont want to
