Now I don’t know about you but i'm pissed! Alex Jones has been exposing the NWO, political corruption, the Federal Reserve, TPTB, etc for the past 18+ years. Is he a little crazy? SURE he is, but aren't we all? Here is what OWS has done:

OccupyWallSt.org will ban people from posting on their forum if they “spam” the political philosophy of Alex Jones or David Icke, according to the website’s posting guidelines:

Conspiracy theories, including any attempt to spam material by David Icke, Lyndon LaRouche, David Duke or Alex Jones, will be removed immediately and the spammer will receive a swift global network ban. Fascist propaganda (including any attempt to spam these four people again), will be treated with the similar actions. In that we are very specific about what fascism is: the word has a meaning.

OccupyWallSt.org bills itself as “the unofficial de facto online resource for the growing occupation movement happening on Wall Street and around the world,” according to the site’s “About” page.
It operated out of the Zuccotti Park encampment in Lower Manhattan, provided live video streams, and a “steady flow of updates on Twitter, and Tumblr” as well as Skype sessions with other demonstrators, according to Wikipedia.

So let me get this straight!! The people who have been calling ##snip## the longest are now BANNED from OWS?

Is this not proof of an OWS takeover by the real crooks?

Come on, people!! You're movement has been bought!!

Alex Jones hasn't been spreading the truth for 18 years.
He's been making money off your paranoia for 18 years.

All you need to know about Alex Jones is the 1999 hoax when he scared thousands of people into believing that the Y2K bug caused hundreds of missiles to launch.

That's all I have to say.

So when he was in Dallas and Austin heading END THE FED he was wrong?

It's easy to dismiss and talk smack but I don't see any examples to back up your quick dismissal.

OWS doesn't want to be judged by the actions of a few. I guess that standard doesn't apply to everyone?? He said one thing you disagree with so everything he says is BS?

I see...

This is not the first time the OWS crowd has attempted to exclude and silence those who do not agree with their collectivist message. In October, journalist Adam Kokesh was told he could not film an OWS “consensus” meeting held in a public park.

I am not surprised one bit.

Jone's has been skeptical of the Occupy movement. In fact he's presented proof of Ron Paul supporters being told to leave from Occupy parks. Since Jone's is very critical of the Federal Reserve, it goes against an unwritten agenda that might be pushed by Occupy, if it is successfully hijacked (and I think initially it was, but now it's gotten very big with many different viewpoints (that differ from the financial backers of the movement , thus the bans of Jones' from discussion).

I've been told first hand that I was a troll, when I asked why occupy wasn't going after the Fed. I've been banned from live stream when asking why members supported Obama, despite his millions in contributions. I've seen first hand calls for Socialism or support for openly Socialist Democrats allowed to fly, when discussion of Ron Paul is not allowed.

So, despite Jones' position over the last decade, it doesn't fit in with the ultimate motives of those behind Occupy. Despite this, I truly hope that occupy grows so large, that that their "handlers" loss control.

Alex isn't just a tool of his own insanity or paranoia. He's a tool of very power and very rich people, and half of what he says is an utter and complete lie.

Jones would try to become a singular focal point.
OWS is not looking for a radio dude with a bullhorn.

His best support, if he supports them at all would be to talk about something else.

I was pretty shocked to see this but the names david icke and alex jones arent on the occupywallst website anymore it just says

No Platform. Conspiracy theories, will be removed immediately and the spammer will receive a swift global network ban. Fascist propaganda, will be treated with the similar actions. In that we are very specific about what fascism is: the word has a meaning.

While i do not buy into the whole two party pardigm i do support ron paul, his campaign, and what he stands for but i was pretty surpised to see this on the website too

We do not support an election campaign for 2012. At all. We have removed election material for Obama, Paul, Warren, Paul, Cain, Paul, Perry, Paul, the green party, Paul, Nader, Paul, and did I mention Paul? The spamming by the Ron Lawl 2012 fan club was getting out of hand. We will continue to remove such material and any call for the Paul 2012 campaign will, at this point, be considered spamming. End of. We're tired of hearing about it. Main street debates are also largely off topic.

Censorship much? I am still for the movement but this is pretty ridiculous imo

If you do not want censorship, you will have to make your own forum on the web.
Even ATS practices censorship themselves.
A thread was taken down just minutes ago, more will come down in the future.
If we do not like it, we may leave.
It is their court and their ball, we play by their rules.

Alex Jones is the biggest supporter of Ron Paul in the Media!

Isn’t Ron Paul a champion of everything OWS stands for??

BOY!!! You guys have a conflict of interest going on!!

Another sign of the lack of leadership within OWS I guess!

It's not censorship, it's an attempt to keep people on topic. Same as if you and I went off on a tangent about how My Little Pony is a horrible cartoon in this thread.

Alex Jones and David Icke being associated with OWS is a bad thing because they are both seen as looney. They are looney.Icke talks about lizard people and Alex Jones is way over the top.The movement shouldnt associate with either of them because it will do more harm than good.Alex Jones hasnt said many good things about OWS anyway.

Also, OP there's plenty of anti-Jone's shills here so beware.

They will always bring up y2k (when Jones was initially beginning). They will always bring up that the man makes money from his website (God forbid, a journalist/ producer make an income to support his family). They will always critique him as a loud loon.

They will never address when the man is right, which is far more often then wrong. They will never address the fact, that his sources come from openly available sources that are credible and come from our Government, or other media sources.

It has to mean something, when I learn about news from Infowars months before it might hit the mainstream. Months.... And yeah he might get some wrong Intel on occasion. Point is, that wrong Intel never brought our country to a War for over a decade.

How many bull$hit stories are in the main stream media?

My only critique of Jones, is I wish he would calm down. His persona is a hard pill to swallow at times, but if people just listen to the message, and not the screaming then more people would realize that the man is for the people. He's so angry, because things are just so bad...

If he is as good or bad, as the rest of them.
When is his turn to be front runner of the week?

Nope but when he was in Austin stealing the show from a Pro-Gun rally he was. He was wrong when he chased Michelle Malkin down the streets screaming at her and saying she should be charged with treason. He is wrong everyday when he lies and misleads people for his own profit and ego. But no he wasnt wrong at the end the fed rally. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut sometimes
