Der Untergang - released in the USA as Downfall.

This movie is about life in Hitler's bunker as Allied Forces bombed Berlin. It's a totally different take on WWII than all the other WWII movies. (Don't worry, you still get a good helping of combat action)

Bruno Ganz is probably the best Hitler ever cast. The movie doesn't have an agenda - it's not pro-Nazi.

All the other good ones have been pretty much listed.

Braveheart should be the top of everyone's list during these times we all live in, and most of us in here are those in defiance of tyranny.

The only problem with Braveheart is..........There is not a single grain of truth in it. It's complete fiction

Das Boot is one of the most gripping and authentic war movies ever made. Based on an autobiographical novel by German World War II photographer Lothar-Guenther peace,sugarcookie1
