Also, i notice the Jewish mind, despite the profane representations of it by gnostic and Buddhist writers (like alan watts) finds complete respite in worshiping God. And in the Jewish system, which is remarkably complex, and tremendously deep, God, is absolutely at one with the environment. The soul may be a person traversing through a passage called the world, but the world, the Makom (Heb. Place) is ALSO a name of God. Thus, the world is God, the soul going through it, a refraction of God, and all for the purpose of establishing in this world a living and vital experience of God amongst human kind.

I find this beautiful. I also find the Christian, and Muslim, and even the Hindu versions beautiful. I just take offense to any assertion of "no - just be", and to say the Jewish revelation is merely the interference of reality "as it is" by human egoism, and not a revelation of God.

Truth does not stay in the East, as opposed to the west. Truth appears in the East, in its own form, in the west (the americas, native indians) in its own form, and in the Middle East, the heart of civilization, in its own form.

According to your philosophy we would all be of the one mind, singular of emotion and purpose.

You're misinterpreting what I've said. Abiding by a moral code is not making everyone of a "singular emotion", but at the same time, unity, TRUE unity, can only be established when all minds work at the same level, and are vivified by the same ultimate goal. I would call that serving God, and another person may call that living in tune with the Tao, or with nature. I completely discount the non-metaphysical views, since they are in themselves philosophically and logically unsound.

But also realize, we are NOT like nature. OUR nature, IS ALSO NATURE~!, so to order, and to moralize, is quite natural, and quite apart of our ability to understand and be responsible.

. Your comments reek of the self righteous preachings of the early church and its arrogance that ITS way is the only RIGHT way

And yet you do the same, in your own, passive way, by denying my philosophy as 'wreaking like the early church". Frankly, I'm dumbfounded by the comparison. What connection do you imagine exists between what I'm saying and the early church? Don't steal? Promote respect for property? Don't murder - promote respect for life? Don't gossip - promote respect for speech, as well as the negative consequences of slander, gossip etc? These are totally reasonable things.

Dont waste your time replying to this post as this matter is closed, and i have nothing more to say on the topic

Well, i will respond. Also, people may oppose my views. Just like there are people, Jews if you would believe, who would defend the right to "free speech" for Nazis - the same people who advocate killing Jews. Sometimes simple reason, simple common sense, is the MOST INTUITIVELY true advice in the world.

Read that. Got a few books on the subject.

However, religion is a much more relevant and important subject matter.

Weird thing is some of those paintings look awfully similar to the Denver Intl. Airport Murals, we need to start digging here, this is worth looking into.

TIME-TRAVELER John Titor: For those amonst us who choose to live off the radar do it to protect ourselfs, 'Time Travel' as people know it is NO longer reliant upon machines like John Titor used. Time Travel has changed it has evolved as we have evolved.
Time Travel is NOW possible through the power of the mind(similar to 'Remote Viewing'), a select few of us amongst us would feel special but the majority of people would call us names and put us into boxes like the name 'Jumper' or 'Watcher' or Solider'.......sad
When you travel through time it's important to have a team of 'Devines' to hold you together whist time travel is possible by following the electromagnetic pathways of you mind. Increased 'Dopermine' levels in the mind open the time travelers mind to a psycosis of sorts where actual travel through interdimentional time is achieved through the unconsious consious state of awareness.
Interdimentional intel is sent back and forth regularly by way of hylusionative voice or mental imagry messages but not physical objects. The pen is greater than the sword when you can get a man to swallow his toung just by talking to him...what we have now are a very special set of skills that allow the few evolved people to view, or unconsiously travel through time forwards or backwards or travel to a neutral marker point where information can be requested or searched through the interaction with other psycotic forum members.....believe it or not!
Unfortunatley, in the now we are the disease of the planet - in the future we have a responsibility to maintain the balance in our own lives so that harmony and growth can prosper. Why is it that only in the face of evil or dispare that we perform well, do the angels cry every minute for the human race and plead with God to show mercey or do peoples ignorance and greed feed and influence evolution, why then do the masses single people like us out, why distroy what you don't uderstand or can't control, it's NOW time for you all to just give it up, work it out and get a grip...just because you haven't done it, haven't seen it or don't think it's possible or right DOSEN'T MEAN it isn't happening right under your nose....so, if you got a problem believing me then go away from me but if you want to know more about me and my experiences then post or PM me at [email protected] Looking forward to your response Devo (AMTEC = Australian Mind Technology)

Absolutely incredible!

This part made me wish I lived in a society such as the one he envisioned:

It all began in the early Sixties when Oberto Airaudi was aged ten. From an early age, he claims to have experienced visions of what he believed to be a past life, in which there were amazing temples.

Around these he dreamed there lived a highly evolved community who enjoyed an idyllic existence in which all the people worked for the common good.

Imagine living in a society where EVERYONE worked towards the same goal of common goodness.

You know that was sort of my favorite part too.
All people working for the common good - What a concept!
I think it would be great!

Con voi! I have really enjoyed reading this thread. I live at Damanhur, at it is always a thrill when someone discovers the Temples of Humankind. The pictures can only convey so much, it is something that must be experienced in person. Walking through the halls, I often feel like an ancient Egyptian walking through the pyramids right after they were built. It blows me away every time.

If you have any questions about the community or the Temples of Humankind, I would be happy to answer them. You can also find more about us on our website, www.damanhur.org..., and our Facebook page, www.facebook.com... We have tons of videos and pictures which you can find from the Facebook page.

Blessings from Italy!

Don't misunderstand me i enjoy watching the show myself and they do give you alot of food for thought and personally i believe the ancient alien theory deserves a serious study. I just think mankind is capable on it's own of far more than some people give it credit for when it comes to building ancient structures. When people put there minds to it there is very little they can't overcome even a few thousand years ago.

You make a good point about NDE.....and actually, it somewhat justifies my emphasis on morality.

There appears to be consequences for our actions here on earth, as NDE have shown us.

Some are great i.e. they describe a great light, meeting their loved ones, and other dramatic experiences. But there's also those people who have experienced a traumatic NDE, which usually begins in the same manner as the above, but descends into a Hellish like scenario where the individual is confronted by his "true self", or the collection of his life experiences, actions in thought, speech and deed, and this new, 'higher' perspective, leaves the NDE'er forever changed...

If there is a direct correlation between positive action, and a 'reward' for positive action, it stands to reason that there is an established metaphysical law, just as there exists gravity, electromagnetism, strong and weak nuclear forces, which bids man to pursue good, and shun evil....... Otherwise, what sense at all would there be to 'punishment' in the afterlife, where one realizes from a higher perspective, the errors of his ways, the selfishness, irresponsibility, of his life's choices, for which he suffers in shame and anxiety. Conversely, one basks in a world of pleasure, in reliving good deeds, deeds motivated by love, compassion and sincerity to help, at a level of consciousness unfettered by the world of 'doubt' that this dimension conveys.

I had seen these in the past couple years (though not in person) That would be amazing!

I would love to design and build one of these temples here! What fun to bring together artists and dreamers to make such beautiful things. Creation is our gift to the future generations not destruction. We need to learn to create and see the beauty in this process...

Not everyone blindly agrees with this pagan proclivity towards exhibition of the human form....

Not sure of your religion...Christianity?

Genesis
27.So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.
28. And God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves upon the earth."

Too bad that it wasn't written to appreciate the human body while doing this "multiplying" LOL Or that when they were created they had yet to build a GAP or Macy's to clothe those wicked wicked naked bodies..

Of course that multiplying should only be done in the dark without any kind of eroticism lest thy be smotted from desire…

Yes those darn pagans and showing naked bodies to make people want to have desire to multiply.............................WAIT WHAT???

The metaphysics of the book of Genesis eludes many people. A man and his wife, in PRIVATE are of course supposed to enjoy each others physical forms, in a spiritual manner of course, but not in public; in the polis, there has to be a part of the self, the feminine, kept away, as an interior holding.

This is what is meant by Ham's seeing his fathers nakedness, and then publicizing it. Conversely, Japheth and Shem blocked their sight, put up a cloth between their fathers nakedness, and walked backwards.... This all alludes in metaphor to the separation made between the inner and outer domains.

Human beings need clothing - its an existential need, both psychologically, and physically. It has all has to do with our inherent need for privacy, for security - this being the idea in Adam and Eve realizing their nakedness and clothing themselves. The family unit, again, is another example of an interiorization and separation of the individual from the community - the common, the same, where everyone subsists as an impersonal cell of the whole.

When sexuality is promulgated outside the house, outside the security and privacy of a male-female relationship, we step outside the security of individuality, into the amorphous power of the whole.

Sexuality is an expression of unbound energy; if it isn't contained, and controlled, it will always end up consuming the individual, the particular, in the same way that the tyrannical state (which uses wanton sexuality) oppresses the individual.

Have you read Brave New World? You might notice that Huxley makes use of sex as an integral part of the Brave New World society. Sex was not done in the form of a relationship between man and woman - an interiorization and preservation of individuality amidst the impersonal common - on the contrary, such an idea was thought of as strange in the book. Sex in the brave new world of Huxley was the ultimate weapon and tool used by the state to ERASE the individual, to wipe out distinction, in thought, in the sense of self. And so we find a society that sees no sense in the value of monogamous relationships, in preserving a separation of self and individuality, from the power of the community.

And Perhaps you read the flipside of that coin which if you look at the number of murders/violence vs. sex or nakedness in the media you will see the truth in what system we are in...1984?
Are you part of the Anti-Sex-League? Or what we in this reality call The Conservative Right? Where we have a duality of suppression of the libido yet glamorize titillation…LOL We have the worst of both those stories at least in the west...

Sorry nudity is natural but in most cultures it is shunned or banned or taboo. Nudity does not equal sexuality and being clothed does not prevent sexuality or set boundries to it!

By doing this you control people and make them desire it, giving them conflicting feelings and emotions and drawing out their un-satisfaction which Capitalists are willing to sell you something that will also not satisfy you in the belief that it will...
I saw nothing more erotic than the statue of David or the birth of Venus…

The point of clothing is to protect you from the overwhelming presence of the void; of nature, of the strangeness of the human collective. In the context of a family, one has become separated from the mass. Just as with clothing, which gives unique expression to the individuality, the family carves out a space from the formless chaos of the mass, for order.

Nudity is the ultimate common denominator. Individuality disappears with the appearance of nudity. Families, cease to exist. Thus, and as is normal in nudist communities, there are no "one" family, as opposed to another. Everyone is considered related, and in such a context, the separation and interiorization symbolized by the family unit, by clothing, by privacy and modesty, by mother and father and child, is lost to the consuming power of the All - the community.

Also, it should be mentioned, communities of a secular or hippy new age nature, have time and again proven themselves to be the most morally abject, the most sexually perverse, and it not uncommon for children to be subject to sexual abuse by the elders of such communities, which place no barriers between themselves and their children..

Nudity does not prevent sexual thoughts; if anything, it allows them easier expression.

I saw nothing more erotic than the statue of David or the birth of Venus…

True. But then again, the Catholic Church isn't exactly representative of the type of morality I'm talking about. In fact, Jews, who revere David as the Messiah, were horrendously offended to see their great King depicted in art, naked, in a provocative pose.

The system of the family, of a man and a wife, is meant to channel the sexual energies into a productive, individual niche.

The apparent failures you point out, between a culture which simultaneously teases the public with sexual images, and yet tells them "don't touch", i agree, is an ambivalent message. That might be the desired intention; and the result, this turn towards socialism, towards indiscriminate eroticism, and moral relativism, might be the end goal in sight.
