I don't know about this whole ordeal.

Considering the amount of reporters the AP has, I find it hard to believe that there is a bias towards any side. More likely, this just happens to be one specific example, as I'm sure we can find a "bias" for any side (right, left, up, down
) of many stories they report on.

Bottom line, there will always be more "liberal" reporters on the ground floor. Starting pay for reporters is so low that most "conservatives/republicans" simply arn't attracted to this sort if job. However, this has nothing to do with pundits, I'm strictly talking your average news reporter for your average paper.

And that's not a negative knock against the right either. Studies have shown that the left tends to take lower paying jobs if they feel they are doing "the work of the people."

i enjoy the debate though!
