Have you ever read about NDE (Near-Death Experiences). There are vast amount of proofs you can find regarding this. There have been lots of ressarch done in this subject.

A near-death experience (NDE) refers to a broad range of personal experiences associated with impending death, encompassing multiple possible sensations including detachment from the body; feelings of levitation; extreme fear; total serenity, security, or warmth; the experience of absolute dissolution; and the presence of a light. These phenomena are usually reported after an individual has been pronounced clinically dead or otherwise very close to death, hence the term near-death experience. Many NDE reports, however, originate from events that are not life-threatening. With recent developments in cardiac resuscitation techniques, the number of reported NDEs has increased. Many in the scientific community regard such experiences as hallucinatory, while paranormal specialists and some mainstream scientists regard them to be evidence of an afterlife.

Initial Greeters Met in Near-Death States Ranked in the order most frequently encountered: (1) Light beings or bright ones (kids generally call them "The People") (2) Angels, with or without wings (can be white, black, or of various skin hues) (3) Deceased loved ones (including relatives not met or known about before who are later verified) (4) God or God's Presence or God's Voice (seldom given a gender by adults, described as an older male by children) (5) Religious figures (usually conform to the predominant religion the experiencer was exposed to, but not always - Jesus has appeared in near-death scenarios of Jewish people, for stance; a Muslim man once told me he was met by Buddha) (6) Animals (most often beloved pets who are deceased, yet there are many of non-pets such as horses, lions, or even chickens, who come as "guides" or to deliver a message)

Death is nothing but leaving this body and taking another one whatever it may be. Only body can be destroyed, a spirit can't be destroyed. Once it leaves this body what it will do either reach Ultimate One or reach another body via birth.

I've heard of NDE and OBE and various other means of astral travel. I have had my own experiences with all three variations. However, to account for NDEs, science has studied the oxygen deprivation which affects the brain during death, or anesthetizing. You should look into it sometime. Most people report their NDE as an experience which mirrors their personal religious beliefs. So, it is much more likely to think that they are hallucinating what they want to happen, rather than seeing something actual. I'll follow your link when I have some more time, today is Black Friday and my TV tells me I must go consume.

you directed me to the Wikipedia main page. Like the staff at Wikipedia know anythinas to what a spirit or a soul is.there are spiritual things and there are things which contain no spirit.this would be matter. A soul ties these two realms together. Now, you still haven't elaborated on how matter can be totally destroyed.

The fastest way to enlightenment is mediation. You may never be completely perfect in body and intellect, but if you can open your mind and experience the light writhing then your mind will at least be luminous. It certainly helps. Perfection is what you make of it. Nothing is good our bad but thinking makes it so.
