Why is there still just another election coming for president of the United States?
Why isn't there an election coming for form of government?

We are on our 44th president of the United States and still on this same form of government. Something doesn't look right. Please explain to me why there is no vote day for FOG (form of government).

There would be no Occupy movement if this current form of government wasn't a failure.

Interesting thought,War John, but our form of government is fine...it's the greedy, psychopaths in the offices that must go....throw the money lenders out of the temple, so to speak....get rid of the patriot act..(and its associated evils, like tsa).and make our newly elected vote themselves term limits, no pension, same healthcare as we the people....and we're on the way!...This Constitution is magnificent...it is the people who distort it, who are the monsters, here, and it is they who need to go, not our entire framework of government!

The better form of government is the one that is impenetrable to corruption in the first place.

Just a thought.

and exactly which form of government would that be? As long as it's devised and populated by human beings, any system of leadership or governance is susceptible to corruption. The underlying message of books like 1984, Brave New World, We and countless others isn't that this or that TYPE of utopia is doomed to failure; it's that ANY attempt at utopia is doomed to failure. Unless you know something about the building of a utopia that the rest of us missed? Which FOG would YOU vote for? and how would it ensure that Occupy-style protests never (NEVER?!) happened again?

wow. This is a big tell. Simply put, we simply need to get rid of the oligarchial powers that subverted the greatest form of government ever concieved in the history of the world and revert back to a Constitutional republic that is enforced through common law courts that are now subverted and replaced with admiralty laws and courts that only represent corporate interests. We don't need to rid ourselves, we need to restore ourselves.
I think we see in your posts a Soros/rothschild/lucist trust agenda that probably relates more towards the change that took place in Russia through the bolshevik revolution in the behind the scenes planning of and by the meeting of the 1'st International...that kind of change, right?

edit: you did word it correctly though. We have to quit this charade of voting for the corporate pres. of the corporation they call the UNITED STATES and give back the ability to vote for a duly elected representative of the Republic that was the United Staes of America

I think John is talking about a direct democracy.

A government of the people, not the representatives.

that doesn't mean it's something better.
Democracy cannot work.
What is to stop a tax consuming majority from voting for themselves entitlements and killing the incentive for a tax producing minority to perform?
There has to be something better, something that doesn't flatter the common man from destroying himself out of ignorance.
If only the common man were brilliant then democracy could work but I don't think thats the case, do you?
The problem today is that people think this is what it was meant to be, and we simply lost the republic long ago.
Marxist communism is the exact same thing as unregulated capitalism.
They both deliver all the power and control to the elite. Both models were steered for this result and to take it all global after this Hegelian dialectic they are now using the anarchists to create global chaos and the vehicle is this new movement that isn't new at all. It is the same model used by the same entities in the bolshevik revolution. The end result was anything but good for the common man.

If people were so childish as to do that, there would be no money to pay themselves. The money has to come from somewhere and if they don't produce there is no money.

If the common man were brilliant I don't think there would be a government. There would be much more consensus among people.

Unregulated capitalism is not ideal but individuals remain free to make their own choices. Not so in communism.
