Even that explanation has it's own set of debunkers. I think the whole thing can be attributed to the power of suggestion from internet fabrications. I've seen people with that condition before too. It's pretty obvious that they're not demons or any crap like that. The mind see's what it wants, and people want BEKs.

There aliens from space and from other places as well, some are interdimensional entities doing there job for interdimensional reasons. But either way there not kids. I would not worry about them though, just think of them as Jehovah's witnesses if they ever show up at your door.
