Well if you know his name, then it must not be that hard to decipher. Meaning that he wasn't trying to keep his "enemies" from learning it. If that were the case, it wouldn't be in a book for ALL eyes to see.

All eyes see it, but not all eyes shall know it. The high priests know it , they won't even say YHWH or write it down for fear if they get it wrong they will piss him off, they just refer to him as Adonai.
