Right, neither does the prominent Christian dogma...
First Commandment from Deut. 5:
"(8)You shall not make for yourself a graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is
in the water under the earth;"
This is what the Bible says, and this is what the Muslims believe and to which they believe all should adhere. This would eliminate all need for
television, movies, paintings of all but anything that is not real and cannot be found on earth, photographs, etc.
So this is just as much a Judeo-Christian commandment as it is Islamic law. But what I really think is happening is people again choosing to see what
they want and hear what they want in order to press an agenda. As was stated above, Muslims, Jews, and Christians all pray to the same Godhead, they
just tend to disagree on the Messiah. And borders. And diet. And what year it is. And what kind of clothing to wear. And what kind of haircut to have.
And....
Personally, I think it's all man-made crap.
