EU bans claim that water can prevent dehydration-No really!!

If they are refering to pure water, they are spot on.
If they are referring for treated water (the one we get from our kitchen) they are wrong.
Either way people on this thread are ignorantly rude.

I'd be pissed if I was a scientist part of this study just for some d***heads that don't know snip about science to tell me that I'm stupid.

Pure water will not hydrate you...

All water is NOT created equal. Distilled water is water in it's purest state. It is 2 parts hydrogen and one part oxygen and nothing else. It has no impurities or heavy metals. There are no minerals or nutrients present in distilled water. It is the cleanest water on the planet, but, distilled water alone does NOT and will NOT hydrate you.

the hydration qualites of water are influenced by..

Those 3 factors are: 1) The Proper pH balance.
2) The Proper Mineral Balance
3)The Proper Ion Structure.

I agree with all of this however the ban refers to bottled mineral water. Mineral water contains minerals like salts etc.
Therefore it is not refering to pure water!!
Its mental however you look at it really, it's a panel that has cost probably millions GBP to come to a conclusion that challenges basic common sense!!

It is referring to pure water. Pure water being ditilled water with nothing else in it... It is distilled water that will not rehydrate you. Mineral water will because it has stuff in it, but mineral water is not pure water...
