Billy E Hyatt claims he was fired from Pliant Corporation, a plastics factory in northern Georgia, after he refused to wear a sticker proclaiming that his factory had been accident-free for 666 days.
That number is considered the "mark of the beast" in the Bible's Book of Revelation describing the apocalypse.
Hyatt, who said he's a devout Christian, had worked for the north Georgia plastics company since June 2007 and, like other employees, wore stickers each day that proclaimed how long the factory had gone without an accident.
But he grew nervous in early 2009 as the number of accident-free days crept into the 600s. As the company's safety calendar approached day 666, Hyatt said he spoke to a manager and explained that wearing it would force him "to accept the mark of the beast and to be condemned to hell". He said the manager assured him he wouldn't have to wear the number.

So you would do anything for your employer just for that pay check....even if it means you have to put your principles and values aside?
Thats what I call WEAK and a doosh bag!
Uhh do I really need to point out the huge flaw in what your saying here? Ive been told a lot of things all my life, that doesnt make them true in anyway.

I wouldn't want to wear it either! and I’m not that religious, but, you just never know… I've heard that all my life, that its the mark of the beast and with all the things that are happening and have happened over the last 30 years, It does make you think? What if its true?

way overreacting.. not the brightest crayon in the box getting himself fired due to primitive superstition..
On the bright side there's now a job opening for someone who needs it to support their family.

I'm sure that was'nt part of his employment contract. I'm not a Christian but I would most certainly support him by not wearing it and his legal action against his employers.
