No they did nothing to me, they did nothing to hurt me, but I don't agree with what they are doing!

Well, I am not sure why you disagree then... I think you should recall 2008 and that OWS is
not responsible for the state of this economy. Sorry you feel that way

I'm not a communist or socialist, and I am not anti-capitalist. That is not representative of the occupy movement as a whole, but rather individuals within the movement, AKA it's a generalization.

I'm not Neo but those "Individuals within the movement" are wreaking havoc with it's reputation.
Now the Unions and the communist party represent a fairly large group of "Individuals"

Neo you keep doing exactly what I'm talking about. You get a few pictures of a handful of people and denounce the whole movement for it. I can confidently say that the majority of OWS isn't the Democratic Socialist Movement for America.

A majority want Justice. That is all. A majority want smaller government.

IMO once people realize that a majority of Ron Paul's solutions are exactly what OWS advocates is when Ron Paul will sky rocket. I support OWS because of the underlying message. Whenever the moment comes that a Banker is finally held accountable for their actions over the last decade I will be happy.

I don't advocate Socialism/Communism/Anarchy or anything else the MSM tells you Occupy stands for. Growing up in this country has shown me a majority of what this country stands for works. The first 100 years of the US of A is a clear indication of that. The first 100 years of this country is what made this country great. We have been on a slippery slope ever since the Federal Reserve took over and current events are a culmination of that.

But you can continue to agree with the MSM. That's what they want remember......

Just for the record...

I don't think you're any of those things.

Unless you're like just starting out and trying to learn your craft, like an intern or something...

Otherwise, no I'd never believe it of you.

Yeah I know.
Next will come that because I think the OWS crowds lack of direction, agenda or leadership is because I support the Corporations and Big banks..

Either that or I'll be called a shill, Neocon or whatever else they are going to want to fling.

OWS does have an Agenda, it wants to mitigate the corrupting that leads to things like 2008.
It wants to see an America where we can all have a decent quality of life, as opposed to
working to maintain the corporate artifice. The people are the leadership, we do what we want,
is it effective???? But what are YOU doing about it? Huh?

That sucks. Whether you're a Republican, Democrat, transvestite, homosexual, Communist, Anarchist, or Socialist, you can still share the common belief that our government is corrupt and controlled by big bankers. The intentions of the protests are not to install a communist/socialist government.

Now the Unions and the communist party represent a fairly large group of "Individuals"

Why do you assume that those of us who disagree with OWS are throwing in the towel and giving up? I'm doing what I can to change what I think is important. Raising kids who know right from wrong and have empathy is a start. Wreaking havoc on others' lives is not part of my plan.

Well then I guess if that's how you truly feel. Then for this member of the 99%......... you do not represent.
Nor do I support Corporatism, Big Banks or Bail outs etc. The majority of Americans have not bought into this fictitious "Polarization" of you are either with us or against us crap.

Because they're the only massive protest group that's against government corruption that I know of, and you're stating that you oppose them.

I'm doing what I can to change what I think is important. Raising kids who know right from wrong and have empathy is a start.
That'll surely fix the country

Wreaking havoc on others' lives is not part of my plan.
Whatever

Good on you with the kids... Unfortunately they might reach maturity after the true meaning of freedom
has been extinguished through the efforts of these entities. We are already indebted to people
who could not spend their current fortunes in ten life times, that equation only increases, soon
we will all be here to serve a few who own all the recourse and options in this world.

That's good, you have some common ground with the protests, just as basically everybody else does. Why not use that common ground to come up with some practical solutions at your local occupy protest rather than come up with cool ATS posts that will get you some stars?

The majority of Americans have not bought into this fictitious "Polarization" of you are either with us or against us crap.
You're either for or against corruption. While your method of dealing with the corruption may not align with that of others, there is no middle ground for corruption itself. There is room for debate on the vehicle for dealing with the corruption, but why not use that in the form of constructive criticism at your local protest instead of online internet forum criticism?

I find it fascinating that pro-OWS here keep insisting that the movement isn't riddled with communists and neo nazis and anti-Capitalists seeking socialist direct democracy to replace our Republic when all their signs, demands, and agendas, and things they say on the livestreams all point to exactly that. It's like you yourself may not be anti-Capitalist and assume that most of the OWS think likewise.

Have any OWS defenders on this thread demanded for the end of capitalism?

You would think that if there are so many commies, ATS would be drowning in commie
threads, but it is not is it?

Well I'm not sure how I'd recall 2008 ....... but anyway........ I don't blame Obama for the state of the economy, he isn't the reason we are here right now! I don't like him but don't blame him either, I just don't think OWS is HELPING to resolve the problem! They don't even have a centralized message!!

I'm sorry, remind me when OWS protested govt? I've only ever seen them protest the banks and capitalists.

Exposing the truth is not criticism.
Come on now you seem intelligent you should know the difference. Why is talking about what is wrong with OWS so Taboo for it's supporters?

Yet we can talk about the wrong doings of just about anything else here at ATS until we're blue in the face. Yet Again when it comes to real world issues within the movement now all of a sudden it's criticism?

That's your baggage.

Not mine. You deal with that mess. I didn't help create it nor do I support it.
