I don't really understand, they always sound like they want to take down the rich corrupt elitists yadayada which sounds awesome to me but... then you say they hacked regular ole people's facebooks, steal their personal info, spy on them and hijack their computers? Uhhhhh what? That's like saying you're going to rob rich corrupt corporations to give to the poor and then... carjacking the local icecream truck, stealing his $80 in cash then dumping the truck in the lake. Real altruistic and not hypocritical and all

Either you're full of poo and talking for people who you have nothing to do with, or they are full of poo. I'd probably guess its the former. I highly doubt anonymous would want some teenager speaking for them and bragging on a public forum.

I don't like facebook, so I don't use it, I don't attack and harm those that do... Furthermore, attacking Facebook users doesn't harm corrupt govts/elites at all, if anything it gives them further excuses to crack down on the internet and our rights. If Anonymous were really screwing over average joes who use facebook by giving them viruses, spying on them, etc then that would make them a pretty pathetic hypocritical organization and no better, if not worse, than any corrupt govt or corporation.

Listen Alejandro, you are young, so don't be discouraged by people being mean. You may truly think you have "insider info" but you don't. And if you did, you wouldn't be posting it all over ATS. But again...you are young. I, personally find you entertaining, and that has to count for something. Also, I like your name, if it is Alejandro. That is my son's middle name, after his father, who passed away. I will say that it is good that you believe in something strongly. However, I can't take an anonymous super-hero seriously. A masked man/men who claim to fight the evils of the world? Well...at least it would make a good movie. I wonder who would play your character? I, as a citizen of the World, as a Internet surfer, as a one of many who put a bread on the table because of the opportunities the Internet is offering, as a regular Joe who pay his taxes, obey the laws - most of them, that is -, as a human being, I would like Anonymous to answer my questions:

1. Who give you the right to affect regular people's computers, infecting them with a "virus"? There isn't a perfect virus which can decide which users are "good" and which are "bad"; there is no virus able to count and consider so many variables in the process of spreading over the Internet. So, Anonymous, who give you the right to play God on the Internet?

2. You claim to be so powerful and skilful that nobody can stop you. "Expect us". We expect you to tell "us" the big truth about the Big Global Conspiracy, by infiltrating government's machines and give to the public the documents and evidences about it; instead, you forced some #ty servers of some #ty hosting companies, grabbed some usernames and bragged about "eradicating the Internet child pornography". You did squat. Even a 12 y.o. boy can do what you did. Brute force isn't invented yesterday and some of us aren't THAT stupid.
The question: when you will do something real for humanity, if you are so potent and benevolent?

3. You threatened Facebook. Good for you. Facebook, as evil as it looks like, give a lot of people a monthly income; these people are using their brain for the money they're getting, they are computer professionals - unlike you, I'm afraid. You are threatening their jobs. Who give you the right to do so? If you don't like FB, don't join, ffs!

4. You threatened the city of Toronto. Who give you the right to threaten whole communities, formed by working people, jobless people, good, bad, pretty, stupid, nice, smart people, just because YOU happen to disagree about what is going on there?

5. Who give you the right to impersonate the Internet Policemen, without asking the majority about this?

6. Who give you the right to say what is right and what is wrong on the Internet?

7. Who give you the right to spread fear and worry among the more sensitive and non-technical Internet and computer users?

8. Who give you the right to interfere with the free will of the people?

9. Who give you the right to do things which can bring down lots of small Internet businesses; are you considering them collateral victims?

You make me sick already, Anonymous. Many claims, paper masked heroes, big words and then nothing but lame attempts to gain attention. How desperate are you for attention? You are pathetic.

I'm giving you a chance to prove yourself.
Answer to my comment, proving that you are Anonymous or part of it. I will give you my IP, publicly. Try and hack it. Try and get into my machine.
If you're so good as you claim, it should be interesting.
I will place a single document on my machine. Get it. Make it publicly available, here, on ATS.

I have backed anons claims but the more i think about it i get more worried . Anon can be any one who claims to be them. So what is the true agenda of anon.Anon idea had to start some were so who is in control of this.Or is it an out of control scenario. Surly every one is worried about all these kids jumping on the anon band wagon and doing what they want in anons name. If this keeps up then anon will lose more and more support from us the 99% . I am not pc smart so is there any chance this new virus the have so called relesed can harm my pc an laptop I don't have funds to replace these things(like most ppl don't) and most of all why would they need to gather the 99% information by infecting there computers. I use on-line banking and stuff so it makes my worry. If i have the fundamentals of the virus wrong i apologise like i said i am not pc savy

I doubt this very much as i know the guys from anon and they have no issue with facecrook however I found out from my source in anon, Lets just call him Mr V for now that due to the recent lack of coverage on tv around the world of the current occupy movement and also the corruption and the outright police violence on the streeets of America, that they wil be hacking HARRP and will target random locations all over the world starting on 19/11/11 and will prove once and for all that HARRP can cause earthquakes.

Im afraid your source is false and Mr V has told me that anon considers Facebook an important tool in the re education of the masses and also values the ability that social network has in reaching out to people and arranging events and meet ups.

The real targets arnt the 99% they are the corrupt goverments and corporations of the world.

I have said a few times that anonymous should put up or just **** off.
My feelings were if they have the ability and they are uber white knights (no sleight intended) that they should gather all the info they can and then at some point in the future multicast the most damning evidence they have to all the printers, fax machines, inboxes, they can reach, all of them at the same time so that it cannot be ignored or explained as an act of internet terrorism.
The truth, in its most pure form, as much as they have, to everyone at the same time.

I believe what they were implying is, a certain kind of person will click on the links to look at the most bane and obscene imagery, in doing so they mark themselves as being a particular type of person, and worthy of exploitation.
Chances are if they are a professional of any high regard with a penchant like this, they are already being exploited in some way, by those that need to exploit them for their own agendas.
The psychological profiling aspect has got me thinking though.

I see what you're saying. I suppose there is value in this.

Heres the way I see it if the CIA are Anonymous, and they started this then I say that the people need to take it and make it their own we need to take the idea and make it ours and not do what they want but use it the way it should be for the good of the many.

Its the same with the illuminati if its so secret and exclusive lets roll out the memberships and take this off them to there are many of us and few of them , the way these things begin and the way they end can be two very differnt things.
