Anonymous Victory! Project Mayhem has begun!

Some innocent people could be hurt by this. My son (12th grader ) was warned in class today about facebook , he has a teacher that opened what she thought was a message from her brother...it ended up being porn that would not stop popping up no matter how many times she tried to close it. This lady has spent twenty six years teaching school and I would hate to see her harmed . Another issue is shared computers. We mostly use desktops in our bedrooms but leave our laptops laying around the house. With a sixteen and seventeen year old son in my home--it's a real possibility that porno gets viewed.

Here's my problem with there claim...

they claim they are going to do somthing on the fifth, a good week later reports come in of porn and dead bodies etc on face book,

they then claim it was them througha video..


by the same logic... whennever there is the next celebrity scandel leaked to the tabloids it will be me who leaks it, there is no way to fully prove it wasnt me, and i have now mentioned it so i can come back to it when somthing happens!

maybe someone was spurred on by there claims!! done somthing themselves and they took the credit!!


Also... why facebook? i mean i thought they had beef with massive south american drugs cartels?? they then decide that was too "low key" so they will annoy young kids and semi-sad folks who's life revolve around facebook!!

I was wondering why someone would post a decapitated teenager on their facebook page, didn't click the link so im safe, just disturbing seeing it in my feed, twice in one day.

Real possibility porn gets viewed ....seriously woman get your head checked. Your son was watching porn the minute he connected to the internetz..

For all of those who are defending, or supportive of, a cyber attack on Facebook, then I have to ask you why ?

If you don't like Facebook, then that's fair enough, but why do you want to prevent others from enjoying it ?

This just seems like cyber-fascism, dictated by a few sad-acts who live their life with a chip on their shoulder and a grudge against everything.

Why are they focussing on social media? Nothing is gonna change for me and the world if facebook blows up.. Go delete all social security info all over the world, now that would bring some gov chaos and change.

Personally,I dont use Face Book,but I know many that do.
Many that have family's,or family photos,etc
I dont see why this is a Victory. So infecting computers with porn,is the way to gain recognition?

You do realize that any random can make a anon video and claim it as real, right? Any hacker, including CIA, Mossad etc can and do use the cover that anon provides to attack others.

Well, here is something I ran into. I repair computers. Last evening I get a call from my neighbor down the hill, she was on Facebook, and saw a flash go across the screen. Then Windows did some strange things, her words. I sat down, and ran "regedit," and opened Control Panel (Vista Home) and went to "Users and Groups." There were two Administrator accounts. One was labeled,
"AVT_ADIM. I could not delete this account. Nor could I edit the registry, it was locked down with a password. I could not change any passwords for any account, and had no internet service, stuck in offline mode.

I rebooted into one of my tools, it is a registry edit and password reset tool my uncle built in his days with General Dynamics. No dice, I was locked out completely. So I set it to erase the hard drive with a DoD 4 times pass and went home. She lost a lot of photos and personal stuff. Take heed, back up your files on DVD-Rs in case this gets you! In my 12 years of doing this, I have seem my share of hackers and trojans, believe me. I have never seen anything as sophisticated as this was.

Am I the only one on ATS that wants to see every retard with an Anonymous avatar banned? How Anonymous do you think you idiots are? Missing the entire point newfriends.

Think about this for a second. How it attacking a free social media site that allows users to connect and communicate globally, fighting to protect your rights or freedom? It doesn't make sense unless......

You consider the millions of people basically addicted to facebook. Now you attack that site, and spread porn, and infect other computers into your botnet, you'd attacked a target and millions of people would be willing to support legislation to restrict your internet freedoms so you can't attack sites like that.

This is what anonymous is. A government run operation to justify the insane restrictions being placed on the internet as of late.

Just as selling my credit card information on the internet doesn't help me AT ALL, infecting my computer with a porn spreading virus via a botnet that could be used for ANYTHING, this is no way helps me, protects me, or makes me want to support them. It convinces me (if I wasn't already convinced) that ANON IS TPTB.

They are who they claim to be fighting.

Don't believe me? Look at their actions and kindly explain how they benefit ANYONE other than the government.

a kid shouldn't be spending time on facebook during class.
