Well, the other similar skeleton would make sense if they were related. Especially since a lot of higher castes tended towards inbreeding, so having both hydrocephaly and achondroplasia wouldn't necessarily be that unusual. I recently read (though can't remember where) that Akhenaten very likely had Marfan Syndrome due to the tendency towards sibling marriage in the Egyptian royalty.

I know hydrocephaly can cause an enlarged cranium, but what birth defects cause enlarged eye sockets?

Peru is a poor country. Going to TGI Fridays is a big deal for the average family. So I can see where they lack funds for research.
You also have to realize, a lot of Peruvians accept alien life exists and was part of their country's history.
I spent 3 weeks in Cusco and Machu Picchu where I saw and learned a lot of amazing things. No History Channel show or youtube video can compare to visiting these ancient cities and learning from the people who live there. It made me a believer.

Just because some thing looks odd doesn´t mean its automatically an "Alien". Fossils of new species are found every year, are they from outer space as well?

It could be some ancient descendant of man, or the nephilim mentioned in the bible

EXCELLENT POST !

star for you !

Why is it excellent ?

Anybody here is aware of those alterations, but they mean nothing. Posting photos of deformed people doesn't debunk this one at all. The only way to debunk this case is analysing the founds in discussion.

I respect skeptics but that was a bad post. Sorry.

Right, if you compare the eye sockets with others from Paracas Culture for example, there is a big difference.

Paracas Culture in Peru, used to practice this kind of alterations.

Great News !

A group of scientists already started to analize the mummy :

The Regional Director of Culture in Cusco, David Vega Centeno, said on Friday a group of specialists conducted studies of the bony structures of the two mummies, one of them with strange features, which are in the private museum Andean Rituals in Andahuaylillas district.

Speaking to Andina news agency, the official explained that the application of a more specific investigation will depend on the preliminary results and the importance of the findings.

Seems that soon (just one week), we will find out it it's fake or not (I hope they tell the truth, since they work for the gov.).

Analysis of the remains
Archaeologist Sunday Farfan Acuña, part of the specialist, has indicated that the monitoring and verification of the bones and at the moment is in the process of analyzing the remains.

"At the end of the studies will be issued a technical report, which is expected to be ready by next week," he said after stating that the work undertaken lasted more than three hours.

THE DISCOVERY
The private museum director Andean Rituals, Renato Davila Riquelme said on Thursday about the discovery of two mummies on the hill Wiracocha, located two kilometers from the city of Andahuaylillas.

The mummy of strange features is 50 inches tall, triangular head, large eyes and cavities in molars rare.

Sorry you dont agree with me, but that is MY opinion and i am as entitled to it as much

any one else on here.

Sorry again but i got more from that post than your OP. S/he put an alternative out there

which is surely what is required in a forum like this.

Before we jump to the conclusion that its an extra terrestrial perhaps we should consider a more mundane explanation. Could this be an example of child with congenital hydrocephalus? Perhaps Renato Riquelme Davila as an anthropologist might not be aware of this medical condition.

In patients with hydrocephalus (or water on the brain) there is a buildup of cereborospinal fluid (CSF) which can put the brain and skull under huge pressure. Children with hydrocephalus often end up having deformed skulls due to the pressure. This pressure would also explain why the anterior fontanelle has not closed.

If the child was from a high status family it would most likely have been well cared for despite its physical deformaties and would concievably have lived long enough for them to grow molars.

In modern times we would in install a shunt ( a fancy drain basically) which would drain this fluid into a body cavity where it could be reabsorbed and prevent skull deformation. Here is an image of a child with hydrocephauls. (apologies for the fact its from wikipedia)

For more information see

en.wikipedia.org...

Would be facinated if this was a alien body but sadly in this case I suspect its just an example of well preserved patient with congenital hydrocephalus.

But what about the ocular cavities? Why are they so large? Your explanation doesn't give insight into that fact.

Those are photos of other cases, no evidence. Anyway, as I reported in the previous post to this one, they already sent scientists to investigate it, that will give REAL info about it to us.

Yes, that's right. This is not only about the shape of the skull. By the way, did you notice the hole in the top of it?

Now take a look at this :

The Crown Chakra is associated with the color violet or white. We use the seventh chakra as a tool to communicate with our spiritual nature. It is through this vortice that the life force is dispersed from the universe into the lower 6 chakras. It has been referred to as our "GOD SOURCE" - but this terminology might be confusing to anyone who equates God with religious dogma, because of this I choose to call it a spiritual connection or communicator. This chakra is often pictured as a lotus flower opening to allow spiritual awakening in an individual. The crown chakra could also be considered the well intuitive knowing is drawn from.

Well, it made the MSM in the UK

www.dailymail.co.uk...

Mind you, I think it's the same one?.... and it is the Daily Mail, which is not reknown for it's 'stellar' (cough) reporting.

Still interesting though

Yes, it's the same one. First picture belongs to RPP Noticias, the agency that reported this found first.

So this is a deformed child with molars, huge eyes and an open crown?

Again, other cases do not represent a valid argument against this one. A scientific procedure like DNA test, performed to the founds is what we need. No test, not debunked.

So why would you reject that as a possibility? ........till DNA tests may prove otherwise!

I found it more difficult to believe, but I don't reject it. My mind is open.

the best evidence for me would be the enlarged eye sockets. 50cm tall sounds about right for a 4-6 year old, and the skull deformation can be done by deforming the skull from birth, either by tieing rubber bands around the skull or using metal rings. would need to do age and dna testing to be conclusive. any updates on the russian woman who supposedly stored a small green reptile looking ET in her freezer for 2 years? >_
