Your Life Is A Video Game Played By Aliens

I don't think my player has logged back into the game for about 20 years. I have just been wondering around aimlessly for years hoping for something good to happen. How do I send an email to remind them to log on and play?

All I know is that if an alien is playing my life as a game, it could not be having much fun, since there isn't much excitement involved. Interesting, but I don't buy it.

This sounds very similar to The Matrix....to be crazy, you would think the Architect of The Matrix is actually an alien and not a human. That's way out left field...and I fail to see your connection between video games and our current reality. The two events I believe are mutually exclusive.

The OP reminded me of some of my childhood musings. I considered the concept of our lives being the TV entertainment for aliens from a distant world - sit coms, soap operas, dramas, the entire range of divine comedy. So here we are a few decades later, replace video games with television, and voila - the same idea!

my life is not a video game.

video games have only existed for about 30 years, so therefore our knowledge of them in our entire existance is 30 years old.

would jesus have been preaching we are all in a video game? no. because at the time god was that line of thinking.

its the same for the theory of the matrix, that this is a computer simulation, we only have those thoughts cause we have something to relate it to.

if there were no video games, there would be no life is a video games theory.

time here could be sped up so fast that they are watching the game unfold at a rapidly accelerated rate.
so normal time to us would be like watching a timelapse for them.
roman times could be 30 minutes ago for them. and the game is ending it's conclusion with the different teams assembling to march on each other and win the game.

I wish the alien controlling me would get some cheat codes then.

Maybe the Earth is like one large goldfish bowl and we are all pets. Or perhaps they have nano cameras floating around us filming, and we're characters in a Truman Show-esqe alien TV show.

It is possible that the creators of our holographically simulated reality long ago went extinct.They are dead and gone,but their simualtion,you and i and our reality,lives on and is in auto pilot mode.It may be able to repair itself and programs new data into the virtual game and we are reborn over and over and history repeats itself again and again.This Machine has no empathy and that is why our world so often appears to be godless...

It is easy to think that somebody is controlling your life - aliens, spirits, God etc etc. I think this is just a way to move from responsibility for your actions, for your life.

I have played a lot of video games. They increase your overall reaction time but lower your consciousness. Their very design teases your mind away from reason, drawing you in by putting the bar higher and higher until you fail, leaving you frustrated but more determined than ever to "beat the game". I don't remember how or when, but at some point in the past the video game industry joined with the people from Vegas who invented slot machines and the amusement park designers of game booths and the world has never been the same since. The children we are raising today will one day be running the show.

Put the controller down and go outside already.

Your soul manifested into a being to learn this game called Earth.

Earth is still in Beta, which is filled with hackers and viruses.

When Beta is over we become GM's
