Russia will invade Israel because:
-It needs a war-water port in the Middle East and Israel can offer that.
-It is a chance to assert hegemony over the declining USA and for Russia to celebrate its rising world status as a “BRICs” nation.
-Russia wants to have a greater say in the control of Middle Eastern OIL.
-Russia wants mineral deposits in the Dead Sea --. It is estimated that the Dead Sea contains two billion tons of potassium chloride (potash), essential for fertilizer for depleting soil. As the world heads toward GLOBAL FAMINE, potash will become worth its weight in gold.

I believe America has another role to play.

Considering The Bible has been filtered through man's hands for a couple thousand years now, how accurate can it really be right now? People didn't even know how to read or write back then so I'm twice as skeptical concerning the stories that are in it.

1. Preparing to go on an all out war with israel and all her allies

2. Wanting a port in the middle east (as if they are already Allies with Iran why would they not just use there? or there allies) for example, make an agreement with saudi arabia etc?

I think you are right PartyGirl. The Russians and the Muslim countries will invade Israel. They will be joined by the EU as most Europeans hate Jews and believe all kind of crazy conspiracies about them.

It was evident to me after reading your recent short story thread that you have a very, very sharp mind and are an excellent writer, Partygirl.

Let's see...without getting personal about it, let me just say that it is a great sorrow for me to see intelligent people with sharp minds snared in ancient cognative frameworks which have long, long since outlasted any usefullness they might once have had and become dangerous. When I see minds trapped like this, it reminds me of a beautiful butterfly caught in a dusty corner cobweb somewhere. I sometimes try to enjoin people like this to "expand their minds" and try stepping outside the biblical framework, but in some cases, it has been pounded into them so intensely from childhood that this is almost impossible. The way even sharp and nuanced minds can get trapped offers many lessons...most of them sad.

I wish you'd come outside that bible-box you keep your brain in and play in the sun with the rest of us...its so wide and nice and sunny out here and there is no fear of hellfire and brimstone...if you ever change your mind we'll be waiting for you.

Being european, having traveled all over europe, i dont think Most europeans hate Jews,

Italians dont like Jews much,

Germans (although used as a scapegoat prior to world war 2) from my understanding dont have a massive opinion on them, niether do the british nor the french, the spanish couldnt care less either, i will give you eastern europeans countries are more likley to have issues but only because they are in general terms more racist than western euroopean countries (excluding Italy)

Wow that is exactly the kind of thing I would think Satan would say to someone to entice them to the darkside. See the thing is Christianity is good for a person. It gives them a path to a happy life founded on service to their fellow man. It also teaches you the generational knowledge of your forefathers that have long ago figure out the many things in life that will trap your mind and body. Things like random sex, homosexuality, drug abuse, laziness, misspending your money and resources, etc.

because you don't run the world, you are just another cog in the machine.

Now those who do run the world do believe in something, and they can use the bible just like a play book if they like, the Church plays a big part in all countries and what better way to usher in their new world order than to use revelation to their benefit.
