Sometimes its very hard to find resources to help to add with your thread and posts, look for information linked to just what your looking for, and mostly, to answer your questions, or help someone else looking for answers.

These links can help the those who aren't the most scientific minded, like myself, and can help those that are quite familiar with these subjects, and would like to add a link for easier explanation. Either way I hope it help!!

Auroral Activity Extrapolated from NOAA POES

The plots on this page show the current extent and position of the auroral oval at each pole, extrapolated from measurements taken during the most recent polar pass of the NOAA POES satellite. "Center time" is the calculated time halfway through the satellite's pass over the pole.
