all of the "law enforment agents" will at some point realized how Fuxed they all are just as much as everyone else... but since they try to force silence on the ones who protest for them they deserve everything they have coming for them.

all of these "peace officers" should be charged with felony assault, felony theft, and fired.

to not allow media to film them is because they do not want their beatings that they hand out filmed... that would look bad on an already tarnished officers of the NYPD

notice when 500 nypd idiots protest against fellow cops getting in trouble for BREAKING THE LAW no one gets arrested or beat they let them protest...

but yet with a few hundred cops BLOCKING THE STREEET THAT THEY CLOSED... no people are allowed to be int he street or block it...

they need to move to a federal government owned site and occupy that who cares about wallstreet anyways if it wasn;t for out corrupt #e government wallstreet would have no power they just take advantage of the corrupt government to make money... at least if they went to a federal owned property instead of a privately owned "public" park (not sure how that works "privately owned public?") then since we supposeably pay the bills for the fed gov we own all fed property meaning they shouldnt be able to evict us from protesting there.

The media in this country has been successful in shifting the focus of these protests away from the legitimacy of the protests to the protesters themselves all while maintaining the illusion that they are a legitimate source of information, rather than a propaganda organ of the state.
Images of police brutality might conflict with the carefully cultivated narrative that has been sown into the minds of the general populace.

I read that not only the OWS protestors were arrested but 7 journalists and a city councilman. Some of the journalists worked for such places as AP and other MSM. Other journalists had been peppered sprayed and hit.. Not only does the US constitution give the right to freedom of speech but also the freedom of the press. It is in there to stop the types of things that are going on in this Fascists Police State. This proves that when the MSM does try to actually cover a story what happens to them. THis has been going on for sometime with MSM news rreporters being beaten and arrested at the least harrassed. Remember the way the US government and the MSM made such a big deal out of the way reporters were being treated by Egyptian authorites and other parts of the Arab Spring. It isn't any different here in fact worse. The difference it has been well hidden at least until now.

So much for the freedom of the Press in the USA.

Once Again the Police and the Federal Authorities infringe on these rights.

And really to compare protestors to sex offenders is rather lame and sad. Just shows Some members in ATS will go to any length to criminalize Protestors, while those in the Law Enforcement Are being put on trial for criminals acts they themselves have been caught doing.

Everything that was taken during the eviction is being held in a parking garage nearby and owners can claim their items at said garage.

This was in the same news report where the reporter was filmed being escorted from the area, for his safety and then being told to get off the street because he was blocking traffic. The reporter than told the cops that the street was closed, by them, to all cars so it shouldn't be an issue if he stands in the street.

Daily News quoted protesters and journalists as saying many of their possessions confiscated during the raid are either missing or suspiciously damaged (including cameras, electrical equipment, laptops and books). One was quoted as seeing many laptops on the floor with damages like they were thrown or stomped on purposely. Also the protesters and journalists must provide proof of ownership in court in order to retrieve their goods - not exactly lost and found.

The funny part is the media is trying to paint the Police Commissioner of NYC (Kelly) as the front runner in the Mayoral race after Bloomberg steps down (elected 3 times because of change in charter which allowed only 2 terms). This is the same police commissioner that is at the head of this fascist change over.

They showed a guy on cnn this morning that told the press the NYPD used high pitched noises to drive the protesters out of the park. Those are no EMP´s but ultrasound is also one of their new wunderwaffen.

I found this quite interesting. Sounds to me like an elitist talking to other elitists about the possible problem of commoners revolting due to economic fears. Notice how the meeting wasn't on the Mayor's schedule.

news.yahoo.com...

ABC News’ Richard Esposito: Mayor Bloomberg told an audience of business leaders this morning that the protests are a dire sign of the public’s economic fears.

“We’re coming to a point where Occupy Wall Street is just the beginning, the Tea Party is just the beginning,” he said. “The public is getting scared. They don’t know what to do, and they’re going to strike out, and they don’t know where.”

The remarks were made at a panel on immigration that was not on the mayor’s public schedule. It was organized by the Partnership for New York City and the Partnership for a New American Economy. Who said this, NYPD spokespeople?

My link was first hand independent reports saying that the books were being thrown out, specifically in dumpsters. Can you say attack on the protestor's ideology? I can.

There are many reports from various parties who experienced this. I saw reports of people saying how the police were going straight for the press as if they were singling them out. I'm confident that there was an order from higher up telling them to black out as much press as possible. Even news choppers were directed away from the airspace.

I can only say what I saw, on the news, and read in the papers here in NYC and, from everything I saw, and read, which included video of the location of said dumping grounds, seemed to be fairly clear.

Again, the reporter who showed the facility, and reported about the location of the item repository, was the same reporter who blasted the cops for lying to him as they pushed them farther away from the eviction so it wasn't like the reporter was aiding the cops in their efforts to clear out the park,

amazing is it not silence those who would put the great usa dirty laundry out for the world to see the truth. and what of the bill that is before congress which will effectively give the man the power to silence the people world wide .they want to censor the internet, freedom of speech is now lost if they get away with this.
it is amazing to see that the people of the world are finally starting to wake up to the corruption and greed and all of the dirty games and politics going on behind closed doors and in the corporate boardrooms.
and all we want is things to change for the better for all men so to speak.
can you think of a better way to silence the growing wave of discontent that is now beginning to sweep the world.take away the rights and freedoms of all just so you can call in the neo nazi`s one more time.beat us down into submission and kill us if necessary , all under the disguise of protecting the people ,from what their own anger and outrage .
it won`t be the first time they have done this Libya,Canada Montreal ,us Kent state,Brittan,Germany and France , we are seeing them doing it to the people world wide ,for the same reason their capitalistic monetary system is broken beyond repair and they wont fix it nor will they hold those responsible for this their mess accountable .
remember rob a bank go to jail for a long time ,let them do it to the people and it is legal .
V. WAS RIGHT.WE ARE SEEING IT UNFOLD BEFORE OUR EYES,NOW.
