Safe locked for 20yrs finally opened thru a statistically improbable event!

Many safes as they get older lose lubrication and the trip plates will drag till they almost open themselves.

I have opened combination locks on gates that have been hanging in the weather for years and i never did know the combo.

Key locks are even worse when weathered as the pins will drag and with picks its easy to feel the pins go into place.

One way i have picked old key lock is to take solvent and remove all the lubrication. Even though most locksmiths lub locks before trying to pick them.

The combo can be reset once the door is open.
