Libyan factions in deadly clashes near Zawiya

Several days of fighting between rival factions near the Libyan coastal city of Zawiya have left at least seven people dead, reports say.

Mr Abdul-Jalil said there was high unemployment among the armed men and that the new government had to offer alternatives such as jobs, education and training.

More Promises from the Puppet government like jobs and education and training that might even come as promised, meanwhile fighting in Libya continues.


Why doesnt the mainstream media call the fighters the Libyan resistance? its obvious why they are opposed to the NTC and why there are still alot of people that may fight the NTC now that they are in power.

Things may get worse.

didnt take long.. had expected a resistance to the western puppet government in libya to pop up..

always happens when the west brings oppression and tyrany erm..freedom and democracy.. the slaughter starts and innocents suffer and die while the western masters steal everything they can from the countries they 'liberate' ..

Looks like we'll see another Iraq only this time we'll have Jihadists in power courtesy of NATO
