he looks a lot more real than that rubber toy sold at the air port if this creature has been seen by many locals could not the toy have been based on descriptions of the real thing?

It's a troll, the little kind, and very likely the little plastic kind....Though either that pic has been touched up or its just a crappy shot because the hairiness on it looks pretty real. But it has five fingers so I would say fake.

Everybody knows the little trolls have 4 fingers.

A sprite it is not, its not even close to looking like a sprite, what makes the op call it a sprite? And I was looking forward to seeing some sprite pictures in this thread, but alas it turned out to be another troll in the thread, once again. But at least it's not a trolling thread.

This could be a modern day version of the Cottingley Fairies.
