Starkist is the major employer in American Samoa, employing 75% of the Samoan work force.
In January 2007 when the minimum wage was increased from $5.15 to $7.25 Ms. Pelosi had American Samoa exempted from the increase so Del Monte would
not have to pay the higher wage. This would make Del Monte products less expensive than that of its competitors.
Pelosi added a $33 million dollar earmark for an economic development credit in American Samoa, and she called the Bush administration CORRUPT?
American Samoa is pee'd off and they've been going to the UN Decolonization Committee being very vocal against America.
American Samoa was robbed. They are poor people and used their little bit of money to buy cheap right hand drive Japanese vehicles. We forced them to
buy Left hand drive American vehicles. They have little money...they were suckered into buying overpriced American vehicles and stuck with debt....as
the Tuna Cannery jobs disappeared.
Certain politicians sucked American Samoa DRY....don't be surprised if they turn coat and side with China.
Which is what Congress wants to justify a new Cold War. They've been sucking countries dry and hoping they side with China.
Our military is cut to NOTHING....the Air Force is going to have to fire 5,000 civilians and release thousands of GI's from their enlistment contracts
and give them the boot.
If Congress doesn't get a new Cold War going, it's the end of the Empire. If they can line their pockets with Billions ripping off all these countries
in the process....why not??
It's not like the average American cares or is smart enough to realize millions will soon die when Karma comes back around and results in War. The
rich get richer...the poor will gladly die to keep the robbing going on.
