The Ascent of Money

Hello ATS, I wanted to share this documentary with everyone, not only is it very informative even for someone who already might know quite a lot about any monetary system, I found it to be very factual and fitting well with the times.

The documentary was several parts long, but I found one video containing the entire lenght of the series.

The Ascent of Money: A Financial History of the World is Harvard professor Niall Ferguson's tenth book, published in 2008, and an adapted television documentary.

I am interested in the subject, but I am a busy man and have no time to waste on videos. Would you be so kind as to post an abstract or summary of what the video says? We can then have a conversation, which perhaps we shall both enjoy.

The ascent of money = even more dehumanisation.

Don't care about anyone, just grab money.

Even though money is a manmade concept and not even real.
