No you just didn't research enough. In was in response to if they watched 300 at their camps..

i think he is viewing the OWS with a different lens than most of us...

i thought the idealistic protests of OWS were at the onset great... bring the elites down to the common mans world of Law & Order

but, just like in the 60s protests, the likes of Abbie Hoffman and the SDS got into the peaceful protest mix and soured the whole thing..

just like ACORN is busy behind the scenes with the administration to create a prototype social order based on socialism, free food, etc to the masses....that encamp on public parks in tent cities... there is something onerous going on here.

perhaps Frank, looking through his lens, is saying the riffraff that has comandeered OWS ...needs to be in service to the War-without-end war machine that is a foundation of this corporate-fascist-socialist government
(not in 'support' of the warring, but in the light of these riffraff need to become the fodder for the elites the original OWS movement was against.

Meh, doesn't bother me and honestly it's probably more true than many opinions on it.

I mean, let's be honest about OWS; what the hell are they doing out there anyway? Any bunch of people can stand around with signs saying "Something's Wrong!"... great, thanks guys. Their time would be better spent... doing almost anything else.

This is, by far, the single biggest waste of time protest I've seen in a long time.

I agree. A bunch of people standing around screaming, "Something's wrong", yet not coming up with any ideas or solutions to the problem. Except for, "I want free medical care, free eduction and a six figure job!"

If that's his true feelings Frank obviously has no idea about reality. I guess comics were as far as his reasoning goes.

Frank Miller is a fascist pig and judging by his writing, he believes that all women are whores and drug addicted prostitutes.

Many liked Frank Miller because of his work on 300, but unfortunately attributed heroism of 300 to him. He is not worth that adulation. He is no more than just a comic artist, attempting to gain fame on the back of others.

The Heroes of 300 were a historical fact, and the circumstances that lead to the Spartans final heroic stand clear for all generations to know, and can relate equally with those whom made a stand against might and armed power, more so when peacefully done.

Frank can talk all he wants, he is just another human grown rich off the back of others, and no one should ever presume he 'created' 300 and heroism. He is nothing when compared to our ancestors whom stood before the Persians, and equally nothing when compared to the courageous OWS'sers, braving rain, snow, brutualities, and all.
