Warsaw Riots: Update

I haven't seen this covered but it appears Warsaw has gone medieval...

Police arrested 210 people for involvement in public disturbances on November 11. Among them were 92 German citizens, a Spaniard, a Hungarian and a Dane.
Forty police officers are reported to have been injured and 29 people were taken to local hospitals.

And just like the UK -

The Polish president has called for changes to the law allowing authorities to ban demonstrations that are deemed likely to result in violence.

This must have been a European-wide organized event for fascists

Its important to note that this has become increasingly common in Poland in recent years.
The extreme right turn out in quite large numbers and the left responds in kind and they fight. It would seem from this report that both sides turned their fire on the police...

Man, I used to watch the police getting rready for a football match on a Saturday in Rzeszow. They had this immense 6 wheeled tank with battering ram and water cannon.
Poland takes hooliganism as a very serious sport indeed



For anyone who's lived n Eastern Europe, the OWS complaints about the police they face don't compare to watching the average football game.
