For all those poser Patriots:

Anybody condoning Violent revolution is crazy.

Be careful what you wish for,unless you want history to repeat itself.

If and when this country is ready for true change,it will be peaceful,and not under a OWS banner,nor a socialist one,or Communist one.

Instead of thousands,you will see MILLIONS of Americans in the streets. Not camping,or occupying,but marching and demanding immediate resignations from all those opposed to our freedoms....and rights.

This is my take on it,and my MHO...............

Actually.. the Revolutionary War was considered "crazy" by the majority of the population, farmers and militiamen against the most powerful army in the World..

And only about 1/3 of the population actually supported the Revolution .. so ... not entirely impossible.

I highly doubt OWS would ever be much more than a simple protest, much like the Tea Party (who through Democracy have brought about ..... absolutely nothing but a new corrupt caucus in Congress...) But the probability that a violent revolution/civil war occurring within the United States at some point in our future is very high.

Reminds me of an awesome song..

I agree wholeheartedly..........but not OWS style......That IS the point.

The core issues of OWS WILL lead to conflict within this country if they are not resolved. I'm not talking about the socialist bantering and the communist revelers or the anarchist children..

I'm talking about

Corrupt politicians..
Misappropriating public funds to private institutions
Bribes
Government sanctioned immoral banking practices
Inflation
Manipulation of public funds to special interest groups
Wealth disparity
Using inflation and public funds to bailout foreign countries
Lack of employment
Underemployment
Personal debt
Cost of tuition

I'm fairly conservative (ok ok .. pretty damn conservative) And I'd gladly fight side by side a "Socialist" just to tear down these institutions that have raped the public of their dignity.

I hear you, and I don't disagree. My point isn't to advocate violent revolution as a means to bring about change. However, like the founding fathers said, it shouldn't be ruled out as an extreme measure when absolutely necessary.

Sorry Rock,but this OWS Revolution,is NOTHING like 1776.

Heck,Ron Pauls Revolution has a better chance at Change.

Then Nick,we agree. I also wouldnt rule it out,but when it comes to OWS supporters against Police,I dont see a Revolution,armed or otherwise changing the political,moral,or even the financial fabric of America.

I am a Ron Paul supporter, but when most of the country believes the propaganda of the government and media, he will not be elected. We've seen on ATS the polls that have been censored. So, we must take matters into our own hands now.

Indebted to the government (in my case California)... if we don't pay our property tax they take your home, don't pay car registration they make it a criminal act to drive with expired registration.

We owe the State money every year for things we supposely own or they take it away.

in·debt·ed/inˈdetid/Adjective: 1.Owing money.
2.Owing gratitude for a service or favor: "indebted to her".

The amount of tax, levies, fees, miscellaneous charges, we pay is rediculous.

Amen to that! The list of taxes, fees, fines, levies, assessments and regulation exceeds even the worst of anything the British ever imposed on us a thousand times over. That doesn't even include the taxation without representation -- the Federal Reserves inflationary policies eroding our earning power.

It was going to come to this because the police have set the precedent for violence.

Self defense is a right. Come prepared but do not attack unless you are attacked. Otherwise, remain calm and watch out for the provacs who will attemp to start things off with m-cocktails and property destruction.

These people are anarchist, not peaceful protesters. Some are transplants from the G20 Summit protests, as well as the Egypt Revolution, and their goal is violent clashing. They think if they do all this, they can force us into a socialist state via violence. Many are leftist radicals with the intent to completely change our Constitution and our system into their Socialist Utopia. Since the communists are also involved, it is likely that complete communist revolution is behind this. These people are not mainstream America or even just people down on their luck. They are violent revolutionaries and many just downright nasty. The crimes, the lice, the Stds, murders, rapes, and even hypocrisy since they don't want to share their free food with the homeless....

The police would much rather be doing their usual regular jobs, or having more time at home with their families.

OWS demands their presence, wants to provoke them, and wants martyrs to use in a media campaign and on the internet to push their agendas, and to demonize law enforcement even more than they already have.

The restraint they have shown will break down eventually, people will likely be hurt... And ultimately it wont change a damned thing.

As long as these protesters are advocating Big govt, nanny statism, a permanent welfare class, income redistribution, democratic socialism, and unrealistic spending sprees and entitlements, they will not be free. How dare they want to impose the tyranny of the Totalitarian State on an unwilling populace(think Pelosi and her demand that Congress pass bills before they know what is in them, just so they can ram their communist agenda through. Yah I said Communism, because communism and socialism are inextricably linked.
