I never said plate tectonics is gospel (in fact, the only thing I would ever call gospel is the Gospel, itself). What you did seem to miss is the post where I said even I have some non-conventional views on plate tectonics and the like. I have never mentioned what those views are on ATS, but I do have them.

I was just using gospel as a metaphor I thought you subscribed to the theory of plate tectonics as such, I saw your post about unconventional methods thats where some of my confusion came in.
