The USS GG 67 Shiloh (A Ticonderoga class missile cruiser) was patrolling the Pacific Ocean when its radar detected a UFO and visually. The object was disc-shaped resembling two deep saucers placed together, somewhat like a smooth image of the planet Saturn.

The disk approached the Shiloh and began circling the ship.

I found this via Google News, I don't know how reliable the source is because it sounds very unbelievable.
Especially because of this:

The order was given to use weapons against the object and several AA-class missiles were shot at the alien craft. The disk was apparently struck and it plummeted to the waters close to the ship. A rescue team transported the disk onboard the Shiloh. The disk was about 8.5 meters in diameter. A slit-like door was opened on the top part of the disk. Inside a crew of two aliens was found. 1 was dead either as a result of the impact or an explosion, the second was taken alive.

If this is true, it's the story of this millennium.

Sounds far fetched to me but who knows. This may be the reason the government covers these stories up, imagine telling the public we do have visitors but we blew them to smithereens. Greetings earthlings... Kaboom! Haha

That's more than just a military sighting, why isn't your title 'Breaking News - Aliens recovered' or something, if it's real, which I have a hard time believing it is.

I think it's a november 11'th joke.

the site the page you posted links to, www.ufoinfo.com... does not have any items from the 11'th - I'd say removed.

And I'd put no faith in that site whatsoever.

It screams mindless baloney made up to get hits...

What I do find interesting is it is listed in google news. Just goes to show how crap google has become..

I'd take this one with a pretty large grain of salt..
I find it really hard to believe that an alien craft would simply allow itself to be shot out of the sky..
