Wife, 87, Shoots "Cheating" Husband, 88

I had to post this one it made me laugh so hard. I did a search and didnt come up with this story so if it was allready posted MODS please delete.

Peter Desjardins told cops that his wife, Dorothy, told him Saturday evening that the woman who does her hair had claimed to be having an affair with him. He denied the allegation and told his wife that the only time he saw the hairdresser was during her beauty appointments.

All I have to say is that when I get to be 87, I hope my husband is having an affair!

It's a shame we aren't getting the hairdressers side of the story! I bet she didn't get a tip that day!

Have you ever been in a relationship, in which your 'significant other' was cheating on you?

It isn't that 3rd party person who breaks your heart.

The heart is broken due to the betrayal by the one you loved.

I find elderly people a little bit mysterious in general. I was always told growing up that the elderly are wise as they have lived through many experiences. I guess I naturally have this subtle assumption that the elderly are more in control of them selves...
I'm not really young, but I guess there are some things in life I still see from the same perspective I had when I was a kid/teen/tween.
So I guess this sort of news is like a glimpse of something I have difficulty fathoming; What it's like being one of those mystical beings near the end of life.

I used to work in a nursing home and trust me, they got more going on then you think. We were in high school and we would gossip about them.
