Didn't you know that the only evil and aggression in the world comes out of America and Americans?

It's just the way it is man. The world was a peaceful place until we showed up.

According to history it was actually much...much...MUCH less peaceful.

Before I answer, clarify attack.

I know where you are going with this thread, as does everyone else.

For example, are you including proxies? Are you including defensive? Are you including assistance?

Please clarify what exactly you want, instead of painting with a broad brush.

Ummm... Saddam attacked Iran in the Iran-Iraq War. His arsenal was supplied by the U.S.

You get your facts straight.

Has everybody's cheese slid completely off their cracker tonight?

This is why when Iraq attacked Iran and later fought Gulf War I and II they were using Soviet/Russian made Tanks, Fighter Jets, Support Aircraft, Helicopters, Trucks, Scud missiles and launcher, BMPs, AK-47s not counting boots, belt buckles, socks and helmets....etc etc etc?

Yeah, some of us know the actual facts....

Apparently not.

Seems English is not the first, second, or third language.

i'm still waiting for the numbers in answer to my OP question. anybody??

two numbers or approximated numbers would be nice.

seeking the truth is american bashing? figures

Sorry for the delayed reply. The kids are about to go to bed.

I have done some reading on this Iran.........

After doing my own little bit of research, I find that Iran has not attacked anybody but themselves. Their recent history is riddled with take overs and new leaders fighting and killing the "other side."

After taking a serious look at this nation called Iran, I am convinced that they are still fighting amongst themselves...........We just don't see it on channel 2.

So in conclusion. It does not really matter how many countries Iran has attacked because they can not stop fighting amongst themselves long enough to really make a change.

Iran has attacked nobody for 100 years.................

Iranian Embassy siege

The Iranian Embassy siege took place from 30 April to 5 May 1980, after a group of six armed men stormed the Iranian embassy in South Kensington, London.

The hostage-takers, members of a group campaigning for the autonomy of Iran's Khūzestān Province, demanded the release of Arab prisoners from jails in Khūzestān and their own safe passage out of the United Kingdom.

The hostage-takers and their cause were largely forgotten after the Iran–Iraq War broke out later in 1980, but the operation brought the SAS to the public eye for the first time and bolstered the reputation of Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.

Sounds like Iranians to me.......

The hostage-takers were members of the Democratic Revolutionary Front for the Liberation of Arabistan (DRFLA)—Iranian Arabs protesting for the restoration of regional autonomy to the Iranian province of Khūzestān, also known as Arabistan.

Oh that was rich thanks i needed a laugh for today pay no never mind to where Hamas and Hezbollah get their rockets and money to wage their wars against Israel and the US in Iraq.

Yeah right!

It is wrong to target any innocent!

However if the Iranians are supplying the Humous and the Hillybullahs with state of the art pea shooters and thats the best they can supply. Well you got sod all to worry about while you are are about to go in. There's no war against Israel and US, only pains in the ass resistance.

I don't know if the statement of 100% is entirely accurate whether the seige was state sponsored I don't know. But I will say we have got our hands dirty a number of times. Does Iran deserve to be bombed into the stoneage? No! Nobody does.

Oh aye, I'm opposed to going to war with Iran, or any country for that matter. Unless it really is torturing and killing thousands of innocents, then fair game (I don't mean Iran, any country in general).

This whole thing with Iran is about control, and it stinks.

But my response was to the OP ridiculous claim that Iran hasn't got its hands bloody for 100 years.

I've never denied that fact.

But simply throwing that out there with no historical context gives the wrong impression. Just like this whole thread. Context is everything. It was in the height of the Cold War. Both sides were supplying all these countries with weapons in an attempt to sway them to either the Eastern Communist bloc or the West.
