YU55 missed us as predicted, can we shut up about it now please !!, page

Hi People...

Yet another Meteor misses us just as predicted by NASA JPL. It kinda saddened me the ammount of DOOM sayers and others who blatently called NASA liars about YU55. It seems to me that some on this website are not happy unless they're hiding under their beds, in fear of their lives.

The next big NEO isn't until 2028 Apothis I think it's called, so I'd appreciate no more threads about death from above until then please.

I feel you totally...my mother is one of ” those” people who are always waiting for the next bad thing to happen...end are looking got it...whether it be on the news, or done idiot sure found on the internet...I want to love my life to the fullest and as happy as I can.. PLEASE STOP BEING SO EXCITED ABOUT THE END OF THE WORLD! lets just try to make the time that we do have worth living...

Okay... You first.

And it seems to me, most of the people who made posts about this, weren't really afraid of this event. Most likely just anxious to test their survival skills, or just want a change in your daily routine life.

I think Apophis comes by next year and then again closer in 2028 (when it may it if it passes through some "key hole").

Let's be real though.. if one has a real chance of hitting us, we will be told. There are too many governments in the world for one not to tell, so the US will have to say. Also one the size of YU55 could/would likely be destroyed if it posed a real threat.

We have more urgent concerns than these asteroids we have been watching.

One thing that can be predicted very accurately is the activity on this site..

Firstly people will make endless threads with wild claims about an event On a certain day.. Then when the day passes someone will always make a told you so thread or please can we stop with the end of the world posts thread..

To be honest I'm sick of both scenarios, but more so with the latter... At least the end of the world one do hold some entertainment value.. And to a certain extent are original..

These types threads are a complete waste of time, you could just add your thoughts to one of the existing yu55 doom or I told you so threads..

the only thing more comical than the imaginative so called "doom" threads is the anger it brings to those who cant learn to ignore the threads that make them so angry.

it reminds me of the coyote always hunting the roadrunner and never catching him.

fun to laugh at from the outside.
srsly people if you are so scared of these doom threads it ruins your day just STOP clicking the obvious, then whining about it. might aswell hit your hand with a hammer and complain that it hurt.
