This is not good news for Ohio and just shows what $30million in union and PAC money can buy you. Nearly half of that came from D.C. based unions and
progressive PACS. They had TV and radio ads running constantly and using fear tactics.
The OEA (Ohio Education Association union) collected an additional $54 per member to run their campaign to topple this Collective Bargaining bill.
One tap of that the average worker for the Union itself makes $40,000 more than the average teacher from whom they are collecting forced dues.
The taxpayers in Ohio have been hoodwinked by dishonesty and Big Labor cronyism. The Union Bosses have now protected their generous salaries on the
backs of the teachers and the taxpayers. The power has been stripped fromthe taxpayers and the Students will pay the price on this one and teachers
will continue to get laid off due to budget constraints caused by the Union demands. It's quite the slippery slope.
It's not over in Ohio and I expect that the details in this former legislation will be dissected out of it and presented again in a smaller and
easier to pass legislation package.
