Over in Chile, the CIA was there as an alleged "anti drug unit". Really, they did the exact opposite. They do it to create slush funds, I think. For black ops, things off the budget.

Yep, their "advisors" are here in Mexico seemingly up to the same tricks, their plot here seemingly being more insidious for their neighbor next door. Their methods and means of conducting their Drug War belie their ostensible objectives. Instability and chaotic violence are the products of their efforts while they are indeed gaining control of drug traffic, though not with the intent of stopping it.

One could only hope the new administration coming in the end of 2012 will have the clarity of the situation that Bolivia seems to have discovered, and we would hope their love of country and sense of propriety outweighs the financial gains offered to further the status quo.

What's so bad about it is they don't teach kids any of this stuff. They go over the panama canal, MAYBE. And that's about it. They don't go over the CIA's involvement in South America. They don't go over the business plot, or the systematic racketeering of the federal government via foreign affairs and kickbacks. It's a sign of the manipulation of the masses. Quite propaganda-ish. 1984-like, or a tad like the Nazi propaganda machine.
