The YU55 Apology Thread

I accept this is a bit early - so if YU55 does hit in the next hour then I'm the one who needs to make an apology.

But given how many threads there are on YU55 I though it'd be better to have a single thread for all those who have predicted destruction to admit they got it wrong. Again.

Am I the only one who thinks this is just another waste of bandwidth, just like the threads that were there to predict an impact? So why do you start another thread thats going to be full of nonesense. I find it really offtopic....
for me this seems to be an other game playing thread, nonesense at least. IMHO

Mockrock alone had at least five different topics regarding 2005 YU55 impacting. Not to mention all of the people in these threads who bought in to the concept of an impact.

Lots of people making lots of threads asserting doom and gloom

It really is very stupid of these "fear mongers" making threads about an asteroid hitting earth or the moon. I mean really, when has that ever happened in history? I see it as completely impossible for an asteroid to hit either celestial body, imho.

Don't worry it'll be back in a little over a year. Then people can claim that it will actually hit Earth then and that all the fearmongering from this year was actually disinformation planted by NASA so no one would listen to those people trying to warn us on its next pass.
