Sorry, didn't realize being a new member disqualifies you from having a brain.

Ok, then what is the blue object?

Why can't the rest of us see it from Earth?

A thing that size in that video would be seen by every amateur astronomer in the world. But it isn't. Because it's not there.

No, not having a brain disqualifies you from having a brain. Why was the lens flare not to the left of the sun or below?

The object is exactly to the right of the sun and above where it disappeared to the left of it a short time ago. -----------------------------

Now is the time to call in Page to look at this. Page, where are you?-------------

You are disqualifying yourself based on your definition.
It's a bummer it's too late to add you to The List

PS it's Phage not Page. Do you really need him to come tell you the sky isn't falling? Common sense and logic isn't enough? You need the opinion of a random stranger on the internet to convince you?

Maybe you should wander back to the Ranger, RIU, and Bilco forums.

Uh-oh. I've said too much.-----------------------------

But I need to get my baby bottle. And have my diaper changed. Not Page, but some help would be appreciated.

Who is Page, and who are you?--------------------------

I see how it can look like a planet, but I would bet it is a lens flare.

Truth is stranger than fiction, however.

I really wish people on this site would grow the hell up and stop bullying people who post threads like this. They don't know what they're looking at so cut them some slack.

Debunkers are a surly lot of people with big egos to inflate.

Then what is it..D;

It is lens flare and not one person has come up with anything else to refute that.

Use your head...a massive planet would be seen by so many..yet no one else has seen it...you would have to leave all reason and logic behind to believe that...

Yes, please do explain. The discussion continues, so why not. I need a little ignorance to chuckle at. So if not a lens flare, then what?

Here are some possible theories. Because it's clearly not a lens flare

1: It's a 5th dimensional blue berry that popped into the universe for a photo op

2: It's the Russians!

3: It's a quantum entangled space fart let out by an Annunaki king!

4: The Chinese are building a death star! Oh my wookies!

5: Someone put a tarp over the moon!

6: A karaoke machine lost it's bouncing ball (that's why the tell you to follow it!)

7: Space has hemorrhoids too!

8: It's Venus.... in 3D! Whoa, it feels like it's coming right out at me!

9: The smurfs home world!

10: Comet Elenin!

Maybe one of these possibilities are correct? Please, do tell, enlighten us all as to what this is.

If you scroll the video slider left to right and back, you can see that the "blue object" moves.

Lense flare.

Seriously just use your common sense.

If a planet that large was orbiting the sun, it would be the size of the moon in our sky. It would not only be clearly visible at night, but in daytime as well. Not to mention that the thousands upon thousands of amateur astronomers would have found it and fought over whose name to slap on it.

Just think about it!

Nice visual. You've clearly demonstrated that it could not be a planet near or on the other side of the sun. If it was such a planet, then it's position relative to the sun would not change so dramatically in such a short time. So, it appears to be either a lens flare or a physical object located fairly close to the camera. It's also clear that it is not possible, based on that video, to definitively determine exactly what it is. So, those of you who proclaim 100% that it is a lens flare, give it a rest.
