Yeah, I saw that part...and I saw how they claim he makes his 10's of millions per project. Drawings of the coming project and pieces from his early days. So, I looked these things up... Reproductions are in the hundreds range for the good ones. Thousands for his common pieces relating to coming or current projects...and it looked liked 10's of thousands for his better early works at some of the better sales places around the world. Okay.....50 MILLION on this one..The Gates in New York City apparently ran upwards of 20 million...and he's done much larger ones I just didn't get far enough to looking at total dollar figures for.
So.. On one hand, revenue topping the 10's of thousands ...and on the other hand 10's of MILLIONS in outlay for something like a couple week show or open air event like The Gates, Either way, no ticket revenue or event profits for him. Are we so jaded that we forget what millions or 10's of millions actually represents? I couldn't find any way to connect one hand to the other and make sense without outside input of MAJOR funding. So, maybe someone else with more skill and time than I will find those detailed answers.
To sum all ^^ that up though. I flat out do not believe the bits here and there claiming he gets no support or backup from the government. I'll bet we'd just find it cleverly named or covered to look like something else, but there nonetheless. There also seems to be someone on the thread here that is local to the area and supports my suspicions 100% and with a local's perspective and knowledge. So...whatever indeed.

he gets from this project,, Christo is going to be making money on this..
